“Me and my wife love this place. Kind, friendly, generous owners.
We used to get donut holes from here 16 years ago as anoying kids with our friends in high school before class started. We're now in our 30s and still live nearby. For the past 16 years, regardless if we were annoying loud teens or high tipping adults... the owners and staff have always welcomed and served us well and with kindness. It's still our go to donut stop <3 This place has genuine soul.“

“I was really dragging this morning. I didn't even want to get out of bed, I had work today. I went into yum yum to get some coffee. I didn't want Starbucks coffee that coffee is disgusting. I wanted to really strong coffee like Vietnamese or something. I went in there sluggish and down. Moses was there full of energy, gave me a really warm greeting. I told him what what I wanted and he's like what else unfortunately we don't have that but he was so eager to help me and give me whatever I needed. I just got a regular coffee he made sure if I wanted room. I did actually want room for my cream. It seems ridiculous but his body language and his vibe was everything I needed this morning to get my day started. I left there in a great mood from that small interaction and I felt compelled to write him a review. I don't get that from places often, especially nowadays. And I think this man deserves credit for going above and beyond. Just making people days better with warm attentive energy.

I asked for his name before I left and I wanted to write him something. Please do something special for him. I hope management sees this. He's a special guy at least buy him lunch sometime or something really“

“Just purchased 2 dozen of the TWIX speciality doughnuts. While the combination of Krispy Kreme and TWIX is a dream come true, I'm curious as to why these doughnuts are not nearly as soft as the typical chocolate glazed? Just a bit disappointing.“

“There are two Rose Donuts, but this one below USD is the best. The people are the ones who make it or break it; and this team is the best! After the 1st visit, they will know you by your name; and probably after your second visit, they will know your order. They are so friendly and work so quickly to get your order out. Connie works so hard all day and into the late evening, making sure she bake most of the donuts before her shift ends. Anyone who is a local knows that they are dedicated to making fresh donuts every day. Let's not forget their breakfast sandwhich deal that comes with a donut and coffee. Also, the iced Vietnamese coffee just hits hard for me. I always order two, so I can enjoy one and save the other for the next morning. It's just right..not too strong.

Btw...it's not just the donuts that bring in the customers, but it's the positive, family feel, mom and pop vibe that Connie and her team brings each day. I don't know everyone's name but shout-out to Connie, Rowland, Mo, and one other person. They are the best!“

“Love this place! I went to this donut shop 30 minutes before closing and they had a large variety of donuts to pick from, and most importantly they were fresh and tasted delicious. Their donuts have a very unique and comforting taste, I don’t know how to explain it, but you have to try them. In my eyes, the donuts weren’t as big as the other reviews claimed, but they were a good size to say the least. I was pleasantly surprised that a dozen donuts is only $15?!?!! I’ve been going to Yum Yum donuts and I pay $25 for a dozen donuts that are stale, hard, and they often don’t have much variety by the end of the day. I’ve gone to other mom and pop shops and their donuts have also been stale on several occasions, so I was really hoping they wouldn’t be stale, but this place really surpassed my expectations all around. This will be my new go-to donut spot for sure. The employees were very friendly and patient. Do bring cash though because this is a cash only shop, although they kindly accepted Cashapp and Venmo.“

“Working with customers in 92103 I found myself here. One big plus overlooked is they have a nice big parking lot - and that's a big deal in this area.

They made me a breakfast croissant and it was way past breakfast time - thank you. The 2 woman behind the counter were very friendly.

Unpredictability with opening/closing. Showed up today at 9:10 am, lights off, no donuts in the display. On their Google page, and their window, says they should be open. This has occurred at least 3 other times. Perhaps need to call before making the drive to come here.“

“I’ve lived in the area for years and finally tried this place—what a little treasure in our community! I needed to pick up 5 dozen donuts for my team at work, and since I was heading in early, I placed the order a couple of days ahead. They took down all the details, including a small special request, with no problem. When I arrived at 5am for pickup, everything was ready and absolutely perfect! “Me and my son stopped by as I was craving donuts and ive been here once a long time ago. I came in ordered my food and drink got a few donuts and when it was time to pay I did not have my debit card in my purse I left it at home I was so embrassed and I apoligized for it I told the lady I would be back , luckly I dont live far I came back and she looked surprised lol but they made my food and drink again and I was very aplogitic and the lady was nice about it and gave me a free donut. “Apparently this doughnut shop has been around for a long time. I driven by here hundreds of time and didn't even know it was there. I stopped in for a maple old fashion and a cup of coffee.

The maple old fashion was very good. It had those good crisp edges and soft middle. The maple flavor was very good. The lady Chen, dropped a couple of glazed doughnut holes in my bag and they were good. The coffee was very good. It was of the drip variety and it was smooth with good flavor.

The owner Chen was very nice. She was a one woman crew when I came in, and with several customers, the handled it well with a smile on her face. The doughnut shop offers a variety of doughnuts, breakfast sandwiches, frozen yogurt, and ice cream.“

It was a fun expensive experience because after enjoying our treats there I also took a box home to share with the family. I specially liked being able to take apart the donut because it was easy for everyone to taste all the flavors. They use Costco links for their corndogs so you know they are 100% beef.“

SAME day! The glaze donuts are so soft and pillowy and the glaze is not thick or overly sweet. She also gave us a free donut! We also ordered a strawberry banana smoothie and it was so smooth, the bananas were perfect. so sweet that it tasted like honey was added, but it was the sweet bananas! better and more authentic than jamba juice in my opinion. the only reason my review lacks a star is because when we first went, an older woman made our smoothie and it was amazing. when we went back later in the day, it was a younger woman working there and she didnt make our smoothie the same way, using a different recipe. my new staple for sure!“

“You go for the donuts and nothing else :) . They are amazing. I read many reviews on the terrible customer service. My unbiased opinion is the owner is friendly enough, but won't win any awards for outstanding customer services. Get there early otherwise, you'll miss out.

Parking: Easy to park.“

“There were two extremely patient and kind girls working the counter today and they made this place worth talking about. We are from Orlando, FL and we have been itching to find a good Boba spot for the last 4 days. As soon as I walked in, I felt like I already won the lottery. Their churro donut is phenomenal and light, but what really impressed me was when we went off menu and I asked for a taro coconut item. One of the girls said that she likes those two best when they are mixed together in a smoothie and...she did not disappoint. The taro coconut smoothie is better than anything I have tried in Orlando. In addition, I decided to try something new and asked for the pink coconut milk tea (essentially it was strawberry and coconut). Once again, I LOVED the drink. I hope I do come back to San Diego soon and bring family along with me because I loved the atmosphere, employees/customer service, and menu items.
