“The BEST donuts, ever. I got chocolate iced and theres something in them that seems like a burst of flavor as it crunches in my mouth. Keeps me coming back for more!! Its like the very first Krispy Kreme donut you ever had, if you can remember...“
“Visited in April 2015. San Diego’s Donut Bar crafts absolutely delicious donuts. Their variety is both vast and intriguing, reminiscent of the offerings at Voodoo Doughnut in Portland. However, be prepared to invest some time waiting in line to savor these extremely delicious treats. Rest assured, every minute spent in that queue is well worth it.“
“My partner and I went in around a quarter after 8AM on a Saturday. There was a small line, and it was out the door, but we did not wait long. Firstly, I just want to say the the service was great. The ladies behind the counter were very attentive and really friendly. Absolutely all smiles. The seating area was decently sized and you can fit in a few people if you just want to stay inside and have your breakfast. We opted for the croissant sandwiches, number 3 to be exact. We weren't expecting them to be huge, but be warned, they are! You can easily split half if you aren't keen on a big sandwich. It was delicious and well worth it. I think we will try the same one next time, but with bacon. We also got a delicious Vietnamese coffee and it was sweet and strong! If you aren't used to it, just a heads up. We did purchase half a dozen donuts prior to this day, and it was all delicious. They even threw in a few extra donut holes! Definitely will have to try the other variety of donuts they have. Quite a selection including massive donuts! This was honestly a great place and we'll be purchasing donuts from here all the time!“
“I have passed by this shop for years and never stopped. I got screwed from another donut shop and tried them out. The service is great . The donuts are delicious and very reasonable. Under 15 dollars for a dozen donuts. Other shops they are over 20 dollars and small and gross. Very happy and probably go there more then I should. ?Parking: Plenty of parkingWheelchair accessibility: There are multiple handicap spots available.“
“KD's is by far one of the best donut shops here in Chula Vista. I have been going there now for about three years and I have never been disappointed unless they were closed or on vacation. I have tried most of their donuts. My two favorites are the apple fritter and the maple bar and I pick up at least a dozen of the donut holes for my four Belgian malanois dogs I will continue to make this my go to place not only the donuts spectacular, the owners are usually there every time I go. They are both very friendly and happy to help in. Anyway, they can to make you happy customer. Thanks KD donuts for providing a great service to this community.“
“I got their twists both glazed and chocolates, a couple of regular sprinkled ones and some old fashioned donuts. They're fresh but that was it. Nothing really special. The service was a different experience though. The lady was very helpful and kind to carefully box up the dozen or so that I ordered. I'll most likely come back here just for the service and not the donut run alone.“
“What is this sorcery??!! These donuts are absolutely insane! The flavors are incredibly unique, & specialty donuts vary daily. Examples of flavors include Berry Creamsicle*, Mango Orange*, Strawberry Matcha*, Salted Caramel Latte*, Brown Butter, Vanilla Bean, Devil's Chocolate, Devil's Vanilla, & more! By far, the best donuts I've ever had!!! They even taste fresh leftover! * = specialty donuts - vary daily“
“First time to this store. Warm welcome from the young gentleman. Strawberry cream Donut was delish!12-10-23:Excellent service every time at the Donut Bar! Nice variety of donuts to choose from. Tonight, we tried the Boston Crème Maple Bar, Chocolate Twix Donut and plain Old Fashioned.“
“Wonderful sweet lady behind the counter! The donuts are amazing. You can taste the quality and mine were the end of the day still fresh and delicious! Way better than big company names! Will be going here from now on when I want a donut in IB“
“The brown sugar boba tea was so good. The boba in it had the right consistency. The donuts were fresh and good as well. The ube donut had a very subtle flavor. This place is best for takeout as there is not much seating. Parking was easy to find.“
“I come here all the time and this is the best yum yum of them all. Best time to come is obviously early in the morning when everything is available and most recently made. The employees here are always super nice. Never had a bad experience. The parking lot is also big and easy to get into with a lot of parking.“
“Employee was really nice :) wide variety of donuts, open 24 hours. Fast service. Clean establishment. They have seating inside and it looks like electricity if someone wanted to work and drink their coffee with a donut. Would come back again“
“The Japanese pastries here are delicious and unique and creative! The Naruto croissants are so tasty and such a fun concept. The space is airy and beautiful. I don’t think the complaints on Google for waiting so long are very fair, unfortunately that’s what happens when you visit a cool spot! It comes with the territory and you can’t be upset with an establishment bc of your impatience for their popularity :)“
“One word. Delightful. They opened promptly at 5am. I had been there since 4:45am after reading about them on Yelp. Inside was clean and cases were full of treats. I've been searching for a good old fashioned doughnut and I found it here. I got it in glazed, maple, and chocolate and was quite pleased. I was also sure to try their Vietnamese Iced Coffee which was yummy. If I lived in San Diego, this would be a weekly spot but sad;y, I do not. When I return, I'll definitely be coming back and in, fact, I'll probably be back before I leave“
“Super tasty donuts and very friendly owner/counter person. Plump, fluffy, and perfect amount of glaze, these were as tasty as any twist, old fashion, or glazed donuts I could have purchased in the better Portland, Oregon places. See the picture I provided. Clean inside, although outside it doesn't look like much. It's worth your time and not expensive. Top notch donuts at the right price!“
“Little hidden spot. Went in but they didn’t have a lot of options. The one that I ended up getting were soo good!! Would give it another star if they had more options. The donuts are nice and fluffy. Also the lady was super nice and gave me a extra donut. I just notice that I went close to closing so maybe that’s why they didn’t have many options.“
“Yum yum Donuts is a great place to grab a cup of coffee ☕ Glass of Orange juice Breakfast and get your Sugar Fix . Been coming here about 30 years and it is still friendly place to pick up something to drink or eat try it the next time your in Lemon Grove ? ?“
“I just bought some donuts and the truth is that the attention of the 2 girls was very pleasant, my child is happy, I really think it is new owners because I stopped buying that time, the staff from before was very rude, the truth is that it is cleaner, more light, more variety I congratulate “
“My family and I wandered in here when killing time in Coronado before flying home. The owner was so inviting and kind, more than expected for some random customers! I got the cinnamon roll donut (my go-to everywhere) and this was hands down the best I’ve had. My girls got strawberry and chocolate glazed. They were the pillowiest donuts ever. Absolutely would recommend and come here again!“
“I had the pleasure of trying the Frozen Matcha Latte at Dunkin' Donuts in downtown San Diego, and it was a delightful experience. Not only is it a guilt-free treat at just 250 calories for a small size, but the entire visit was made even more enjoyable by the fantastic customer service. The outdoor seating area is lovely, offering a perfect spot to relax and enjoy your drink. What truly sets this Dunkin' Donuts apart is that it's hard to find a coffee shop in downtown San Diego that can match their combination of superior drinks, excellent customer service, and wallet-friendly prices. If you're in the area and craving a refreshing, low-calorie beverage, the Frozen Matcha Latte at this Dunkin' Donuts is the way to go.“
“I like this little doughnut shop..............doughnut here are pretty good...............they have a dining area if you want to eat there.............I usually do............the couple who run it are super nice............only drawback for some is that they are a cash only business..............but their prices are a bit lower than other places in the area............I usually stop by at least twice a week“
“These donuts were delicious - they were so fresh and soft. I am very picky about the quality of my donuts (true fatty here), and these were some of the best I have had for a traditional donut. I would post a picture but my family ate them all already.“
“This is probably Palm ave’s best kept secret. I remember trying their donuts a few years back and weren’t impressed, but not sure if new management or just didn’t get the right variety that time. Anyways, these are the CRUNCHIEST old fashioned, buttermilk bar and apple fritters I’ve ever had and they’re delicious. They are on the smaller side but I think that’s what gives them their amazing texture. The regular chewy donuts are amazing too - I love coconut! Love them so much we came here two days in a row lol. They do accept card despite older photos saying cash only but I think there may be a fee. Definitely making this our regular spot!“
“I stopped by here with the family when we took our puppy to the Vet. The kids got donuts and I got a breakfast croissant. It was good. I was hoping to get their LOX sandwich but it wasn't available at the time. The restaurant is cute. The wall color, decor, and seating arrangement are nice! It wasn't busy when we went so the service was pretty fast. Would come back again to try their lox sandwich“
“I came here at six am one morning, after dropping off one of my relatives at SDO. A little background on Verne Winchell's place, before there was a green siren in Seattle, before the Dunkin' folks opened in Quincy Mass and even before Randy's Donuts, there was a Winchell's Donuts. Winchell's is a SoCal institution. The great thing about the west coast, is at six am there isn't a lot of folk up on local streets. So I did a U'ie and parked right in front. LOL The employees up and around making coffee, and restocking the glass case. Busy, busy. But there was a steady stream of customers. In and Out within a couple of minutes. Quick and easy. Nice Interestingly, the green siren had a long car line up the block, as did the new Better Buzz across the street. Not here, just folks coming in quickly, getting a large coffee and a donut. Like Norman R I'm a huge fan, too. I would come here just for the smell of freshly made coffee and donuts. Cannot beat it! Yum.“
“Baker here is such a hard worker! Stopped by late at night for a last minute pick up for the morning... it was around 11pm, and their selection was plenty! They have had mini donuts which I haven't seen Yum Yum carry before. This location has a pretty good selection and is more stocked than the Eastlake location. Will update after I eat some of the donuts in the morning!“
“All I can say is EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE. I didn't catch anyone name this morning, but the 2 gentleman that were working this morning. They were friendly, attentive and had amazing customer service skills. Great service guys!! Keep it up!!“
“I love the donuts here! Also, the new management is friendly and helpful! I always stop in when I pass by and go out of my way to drive an extra 10 -15 mins to grab donuts here. My only complaint is they run out too soon some days! (Which means they are so good that I'm not they only one dropping in!)“
