“I came here a few months ago to get donuts because my usual place was all out. I saw that they made breakfast sandwiches and thought I'd give that a try too. Turns out those sandwiches are amazing. Make sure Lin is the one behind the counter though. I've been back several times for the sandwich and there's another lady that works sometimes who makes them completely different and not as well.Lin takes what I assume is a croissant they make there, toasts it up and makes you two fresh eggs to put on top of it. You can get cheese, ham, bacon etc as well. I usually opt for the number four which is ham, bacon and cheese. It's amazing. Highly recommend this place. The donuts, donut holes and other creations are amazing as well. Stop by soon!“

“I just got a “dozen” (14) delivered to my doorstep nearby and I RAN here to write this review. We received a wide variety of donuts and donut holes, and each was fresh, soft, crispy on the outside and perfectly doughy within… a knockout hit for EVERY FLAVOR!!!Apple fritter was my favorite… wish I’d gotten more than two! We just moved in nearby and I don’t think I’ll ever go anywhere else for donuts again!“

“Love this place! I went to this donut shop 30 minutes before closing and they had a large variety of donuts to pick from, and most importantly they were fresh and tasted delicious. Their donuts have a very unique and comforting taste, I don’t know how to explain it, but you have to try them. In my eyes, the donuts weren’t as big as the other reviews claimed, but they were a good size to say the least. I was pleasantly surprised that a dozen donuts is only $15?!?!! I’ve been going to Yum Yum donuts and I pay $25 for a dozen donuts that are stale, hard, and they often don’t have much variety by the end of the day. I’ve gone to other mom and pop shops and their donuts have also been stale on several occasions, so I was really hoping they wouldn’t be stale, but this place really surpassed my expectations all around. This will be my new go-to donut spot for sure. The employees were very friendly and patient. Do bring cash though because this is a cash only shop, although they kindly accepted Cashapp and Venmo.“

“The only reason I scored three stars for the atmosphere at Honey Donuts is due to the geographical location. Otherwise, Honey Donuts has the absolute best product in East County. Day or night they have the freshest donuts. I often have been there at 10 pm or later and the service is as great as it is during the day. The staff is friendly, helpful, and very welcoming whenever I stop in. I would recommend Honey Donuts to anyone inquiring about the place.“

“I’ve lived in the area for years and finally tried this place—what a little treasure in our community! I needed to pick up 5 dozen donuts for my team at work, and since I was heading in early, I placed the order a couple of days ahead. They took down all the details, including a small special request, with no problem. When I arrived at 5am for pickup, everything was ready and absolutely perfect! From the friendly service to the delicious donuts, the whole experience was fantastic. I’ll definitely be back!“

“This was my first time stopping at Tasty Donuts. I had been craving a donut for weeks. I got an apple fritter and a glazed blueberry old fashioned. Like I said, I had been craving a donut - ONE. And I left with two. And I swiftly ate half of each, in my car, as I drove home.

To say they were delicious is a tremendous understatement. The apple fritter was moist, chewy, and the perfect amount of sweetness. So yummy! The blueberry old fashioned was moist and dense all at the same time, glazed just right - not too much, and not too sparse - and it was delicately sweetened, which was ideal.

One of the things I loved about both treats is the just right amount of sweetness. It wasn't overly sweet where one experiences cavities on the first bot, but it also was not bland. I nursed the remains for two days after. I kept them well wrapped to retain as much freshness as I could. And the total for both was only $3 and change! I was pleasantly surprised.

I will return. I don't eat donuts very often, but when the craving hits again, I will most assuredly revisit Tasty Donuts. I was quite pleased. Enjoy your visit... and heck, splurge on two. You're welcome. ♡“

“Best Apple Fritter in town!! I am an apple fritter connoisseur and I have to say this is the best one i’ve ever had!! It was even later in the day around 4pm and it was still fresh and delicious! I also tried their Maple bar, Coconut donut, and Maple Bacon. Their Coconut was okay, a little dry i’d say. Otherwise great donuts!!“

Unpredictability with opening/closing. Showed up today at 9:10 am, lights off, no donuts in the display. On their Google page, and their window, says they should be open. This has occurred at least 3 other times. Perhaps need to call before making the drive to come here.“

“Got this via door dash bc of a craving on a Saturday. Did not expect them to be the freshest donuts I’ve ever purchased. Maybe I got lucky, but the oil used was new, did not taste the oil. The box didn’t even get oil stains. Bread had a nice saltiness and flavor. Very glad I tried them out and I will definitely be back.“

“Got a half dozen for $6.99 using the Too Good To Go app - on Christmas Day, the employee I spoke to was a little distant but still kind. The donuts were good quality (especially considering TGTG is designed to sell foods that would otherwise be tossed out) and not too sweet or dry. It was a fun expensive experience because after enjoying our treats there I also took a box home to share with the family. “I was really dragging this morning. I didn't even want to get out of bed, I had work today. I went into yum yum to get some coffee. I didn't want Starbucks coffee that coffee is disgusting. I wanted to really strong coffee like Vietnamese or something. I went in there sluggish and down. Moses was there full of energy, gave me a really warm greeting. I told him what what I wanted and he's like what else unfortunately we don't have that but he was so eager to help me and give me whatever I needed. I just got a regular coffee he made sure if I wanted room. I did actually want room for my cream. It seems ridiculous but his body language and his vibe was everything I needed this morning to get my day started. I left there in a great mood from that small interaction and I felt compelled to write him a review. I don't get that from places often, especially nowadays. And I think this man deserves credit for going above and beyond. Just making people days better with warm attentive energy.

“There were two extremely patient and kind girls working the counter today and they made this place worth talking about. We are from Orlando, FL and we have been itching to find a good Boba spot for the last 4 days. As soon as I walked in, I felt like I already won the lottery. Their churro donut is phenomenal and light, but what really impressed me was when we went off menu and I asked for a taro coconut item. One of the girls said that she likes those two best when they are mixed together in a smoothie and...she did not disappoint. The taro coconut smoothie is better than anything I have tried in Orlando. In addition, I decided to try something new and asked for the pink coconut milk tea (essentially it was strawberry and coconut). Once again, I LOVED the drink. I hope I do come back to San Diego soon and bring family along with me because I loved the atmosphere, employees/customer service, and menu items.

“While on a road trip to meet a friend in San Diego for a concert, I stayed a little outside of the city in Mission Valley to save some money. As I pulled into the hotel, I spotted a Randy's Donuts sign at the adjacent strip mall. It wasn't open 24 hours (or I would have absolutely dropped in), but I took note of the hours and knew I had to go back in the morning before hitting the road into the city the next day.

Randy's has some of the best yeast donuts ever, and they're among my favorites. The original location has been my go-to whenever I am in Los Angeles, and my tummy was excited to see a location in San Diego!

The place was bustling around 9:30 the next morning (a Saturday). There was a table of old timers who were obviously local regulars, as well as some construction workers and yuppies walking their designer dogs. There was a short line to order, but the shop had plenty of employees who were friendly, welcoming, and efficient. They moved the line quickly, which is nice if you just want to grab a sweet treat without waiting forever.

The display case was full of so many tasty looking donuts and flavors! Nutella, butter crumb, blueberry cake, maple glazed, and more. Of course, I'm a traditional donut type of gal so I went with one of the original raised yeast glazed donuts. They were so fresh and yummy!

I've never had a bad donut from Randy's, and today was no exception. The oil was fresh, the donuts were soft, and the flavors were delicious.I'd say thi s Randy's feels a bit like your classic donut shop rather than some next‑level destination.

These aren't Insta-worthy treats or anything like that, but good, solid, traditional pockets of sweet, fried dough. Sometimes that's all you need, just a basic donut that tastes delicious.“
