Is the best pandan donut in San Diego in Tierrasanta? Yes.
The donut is fluffy, glazed, green and has all the flavor of real pandan leaf: there's the grassy bright green flavor, a depth that has a hint of bitter. I think they are using actual leaf and extract in their dough for this donut because I haven't had a pandan-flavored anything that has this much character that didn't.
