“I've been coming to Mary's donuts since 2012 back at their old location in Santee. It's really great that they have branched out and have a store in Lakeside now.Parking is a little weird. They have a lot in the back but if you're lucky you can get a spot on the street I saw they have deli and breakfast lunch menus so I'll have to stop in and try them.Donut case is always impressive on what they offer but I usually stick through my usual order of a maple bar. I decided to get an apple, fritter and man are they ginormous! Honestly, the size of your face and they taste so good!The service is so quick I waited, probably less than a minute before I was helped by one of the employees. I've been to the Santee location at 2 AM and they're always still so nice and welcoming despite the odd hours.Makes me happy to support them throughout all these years and see them expand and grow! “My partner and I went in around a quarter after 8AM on a Saturday. There was a small line, and it was out the door, but we did not wait long. Firstly, I just want to say the the service was great. The ladies behind the counter were very attentive and really friendly. Absolutely all smiles. The seating area was decently sized and you can fit in a few people if you just want to stay inside and have your breakfast. We opted for the croissant sandwiches, number 3 to be exact. We weren't expecting them to be huge, but be warned, they are! You can easily split half if you aren't keen on a big sandwich. It was delicious and well worth it. I think we will try the same one next time, but with bacon. We also got a delicious Vietnamese coffee and it was sweet and strong! If you aren't used to it, just a heads up. We did purchase half a dozen donuts prior to this day, and it was all delicious. They even threw in a few extra donut holes! Definitely will have to try the other variety of donuts they have. Quite a selection including massive donuts! This was honestly a great place and we'll be purchasing donuts from here all the time!“

“OMG these are the best donuts we've had in a long time, maybe even ever. Soft, not overly sweet, not a single dry bite (even after 9am) perfect amount of toppings. We got a half dozen, a bottle drink, and a medium coffee. Our total was just over $8. That is the cash price, however. They do charge more for using card FYI.My daughter and I tried the Bavarian Cream (my favorite), chocolate Old Fashioned, Glazed with Cinnamon, White with Sprinkles, and Chocolate with Sprinkles. She had a bottle of Strawberry milk and I had a medium coffee. The Bavarian Creams were the best I've ever had. There was actually cream in the entire donut, and it was soooo soft and fluffy! Even the Old Fashioned was soft, with a perfect crispy crust. The chocolate actually tastes like chocolate, better than any other donut shop I've tried. My daughter scarfed down her sprinkle donuts with a smile the whole time. He even included 2 donut holes as a surprise! She devoured those before I could stir my coffee and try a bite hahaThe only sorta downsides I have; the coffee tasted odd... even for what you would imagine "cheap generic coffee" to be. But he had a few different Flavored creamers available, so that helped. Also, it may not be everyone's cup of tea, but there was some old country love ballads playing as we ate there. I didn't mind, it seemed fitting somehow.I am so mad at myself that I've driven by this place twice a day for a year and a half and never stopped in! We will most definitely be back!“
“Hands down the best donut and breakfast bagel shop in San Diego. These are classic donuts and they are amazing....no weird oily taste just absolutely perfect. The breakfast bagels are huge and made to order. Thick pieces of bacon real eggs and absolutely delicious. The people who work the shop are extremely kind and clearly love their shop. “I have been going to Rose Donuts since the 1990's and they have never failed to impress. The donuts are always fresh. They are always perfection. It's a traditional donut place with traditional donuts of all types and they are probably the best in San Diego County. Be sure to get their apple fritter! They even make a smaller fritter since traditional apple fritters are so huge. Oh, and their pricing is still great at a time when prices are skyrocketing. Even better if you can pay cash. Enjoy! “KD's is by far one of the best donut shops here in Chula Vista. I have been going there now for about three years and I have never been disappointed unless they were closed or on vacation. I have tried most of their donuts. My two favorites are the apple fritter and the maple bar and I pick up at least a dozen of the donut holes for my four Belgian malanois dogs I will continue to make this my go to place not only the donuts spectacular, the owners are usually there every time I go. “Honestly, these are some of the nicest people I have ever met.We had an accident on the freeway and we reserve this hotel room and the state patrol gave us a ride over here to the hotel. It’s just next-door. The hotel would not let us stay in the lobby because they would not allow us to check in until 3 o’clock and we arrive at about 1030 in the morning. if you want, you can check my review of the hotel that I posted on Google maps as well.This little donut shop knew what happened to us and said we could stay in the lobby as long as we needed to to wait until they allowed us to check in at 3 o’clock today. “Oh my goodness!!! The donuts are absolutely amazing. I ordered a white cake, chocolate frosting with coconut and a plain buttermilk. As a bonus the very sweet counter lady gave me 5 glazed donut holes for my order. I sampled a donut hole which was light and airy and perfectly sweet. A super clean bite of no greasy taste or heaviness. DELICIOUS. Since this is a review I will continue on with sampling. Next was the plain buttermilk bar. “One word. Delightful. They opened promptly at 5am. I had been there since 4:45am after reading about them on Yelp. Inside was clean and cases were full of treats. I've been searching for a good old fashioned doughnut and I found it here. I got it in glazed, maple, and chocolate and was quite pleased.
