“Love this place! I went to this donut shop 30 minutes before closing and they had a large variety of donuts to pick from, and most importantly they were fresh and tasted delicious. Their donuts have a very unique and comforting taste, I don’t know how to explain it, but you have to try them. In my eyes, the donuts weren’t as big as the other reviews claimed, but they were a good size to say the least. I was pleasantly surprised that a dozen donuts is only $15?!?!! I’ve been going to Yum Yum donuts and I pay $25 for a dozen donuts that are stale, hard, and they often don’t have much variety by the end of the day. I’ve gone to other mom and pop shops and their donuts have also been stale on several occasions, so I was really hoping they wouldn’t be stale, but this place really surpassed my expectations all around. This will be my new go-to donut spot for sure. The employees were very friendly and patient. Do bring cash though because this is a cash only shop, although they kindly accepted Cashapp and Venmo.“

“The only reason I scored three stars for the atmosphere at Honey Donuts is due to the geographical location. Otherwise, Honey Donuts has the absolute best product in East County. Day or night they have the freshest donuts. I often have been there at 10 pm or later and the service is as great as it is during the day. “I’ve lived in the area for years and finally tried this place—what a little treasure in our community! I needed to pick up 5 dozen donuts for my team at work, and since I was heading in early, I placed the order a couple of days ahead. They took down all the details, including a small special request, with no problem. When I arrived at 5am for pickup, everything was ready and absolutely perfect! From the friendly service to the delicious donuts, the whole experience was fantastic. I’ll definitely be back!“

“This was my first time stopping at Tasty Donuts. I had been craving a donut for weeks. I got an apple fritter and a glazed blueberry old fashioned. Like I said, I had been craving a donut - ONE. And I left with two. And I swiftly ate half of each, in my car, as I drove home.

To say they were delicious is a tremendous understatement. The apple fritter was moist, chewy, and the perfect amount of sweetness. So yummy! The blueberry old fashioned was moist and dense all at the same time, glazed just right - not too much, and not too sparse - and it was delicately sweetened, which was ideal.

One of the things I loved about both treats is the just right amount of sweetness. It wasn't overly sweet where one experiences cavities on the first bot, but it also was not bland. I nursed the remains for two days after. I kept them well wrapped to retain as much freshness as I could. And the total for both was only $3 and change! I was pleasantly surprised.

I will return. I don't eat donuts very often, but when the craving hits again, I will most assuredly revisit Tasty Donuts. I was quite pleased. Enjoy your visit... and heck, splurge on two. You're welcome. ♡“

“Best Apple Fritter in town!! I am an apple fritter connoisseur and I have to say this is the best one i’ve ever had!! It was even later in the day around 4pm and it was still fresh and delicious! I also tried their Maple bar, Coconut donut, and Maple Bacon. Their Coconut was okay, a little dry i’d say. Otherwise great donuts!!“

Unpredictability with opening/closing. Showed up today at 9:10 am, lights off, no donuts in the display. On their Google page, and their window, says they should be open. This has occurred at least 3 other times. Perhaps need to call before making the drive to come here.“

“Got this via door dash bc of a craving on a Saturday. Did not expect them to be the freshest donuts I’ve ever purchased. Maybe I got lucky, but the oil used was new, did not taste the oil. The box didn’t even get oil stains. Bread had a nice saltiness and flavor. Very glad I tried them out and I will definitely be back.“

“Got a half dozen for $6.99 using the Too Good To Go app - on Christmas Day, the employee I spoke to was a little distant but still kind. The donuts were good quality (especially considering TGTG is designed to sell foods that would otherwise be tossed out) and not too sweet or dry. “I was really dragging this morning. I didn't even want to get out of bed, I had work today. I went into yum yum to get some coffee. I didn't want Starbucks coffee that coffee is disgusting. I wanted to really strong coffee like Vietnamese or something. I went in there sluggish and down. Moses was there full of energy, gave me a really warm greeting. I told him what what I wanted and he's like what else unfortunately we don't have that but he was so eager to help me and give me whatever I needed. I just got a regular coffee he made sure if I wanted room. I did actually want room for my cream. It seems ridiculous but his body language and his vibe was everything I needed this morning to get my day started. I left there in a great mood from that small interaction and I felt compelled to write him a review. I don't get that from places often, especially nowadays. And I think this man deserves credit for going above and beyond. Just making people days better with warm attentive energy.

“It's a small shop with very tasty mochi [rice] flour doughnuts and teas to add boba or jelly to for washing down the doughnuts! When I visited I wanted to try the grass jelly, but it had run out. There was a bit of confusion for a while about that and despite being the only one there until a young lady came by, I waited quite a bit for my order which I had to change a bit. I was surprised I got my doughnut and drink after that young lady because it didn't seem like she ordered online.
