“Love this place! I went to this donut shop 30 minutes before closing and they had a large variety of donuts to pick from, and most importantly they were fresh and tasted delicious. Their donuts have a very unique and comforting taste, I don’t know how to explain it, but you have to try them. In my eyes, the donuts weren’t as big as the other reviews claimed, but they were a good size to say the least. I was pleasantly surprised that a dozen donuts is only $15?!?!! I’ve been going to Yum Yum donuts and I pay $25 for a dozen donuts that are stale, hard, and they often don’t have much variety by the end of the day. I’ve gone to other mom and pop shops and their donuts have also been stale on several occasions, so I was really hoping they wouldn’t be stale, but this place really surpassed my expectations all around. This will be my new go-to donut spot for sure. The employees were very friendly and patient. Do bring cash though because this is a cash only shop, although they kindly accepted Cashapp and Venmo.“

“Good service, fast and good taste. My husband ordered a c1 and an iced coffee, and I ordered a c3 with Thai tea. The man who helped us had the role as cashier and cook at the same time, and was professional/kind with a homeless man who entered the building.“

“Me and my son stopped by as I was craving donuts and ive been here once a long time ago. I came in ordered my food and drink got a few donuts and when it was time to pay I did not have my debit card in my purse I left it at home I was so embrassed and I apoligized for it I told the lady I would be back , luckly I dont live far I came back and she looked surprised lol but they made my food and drink again and I was very aplogitic and the lady was nice about it and gave me a free donut. “Best Apple Fritter in town!! I am an apple fritter connoisseur and I have to say this is the best one i’ve ever had!! It was even later in the day around 4pm and it was still fresh and delicious! I also tried their Maple bar, Coconut donut, and Maple Bacon. Their Coconut was okay, a little dry i’d say. Otherwise great donuts!!“

“Is the best pandan donut in San Diego in Tierrasanta? Yes.

The donut is fluffy, glazed, green and has all the flavor of real pandan leaf: there's the grassy bright green flavor, a depth that has a hint of bitter. I think they are using actual leaf and extract in their dough for this donut because I haven't had a pandan-flavored anything that has this much character that didn't. This does mean that it's not going to be to your taste if you just wanted something sweet and green but there's plenty of other flavors for that.

The ube taro has a comparatively mild earthy flavor that isn't as deep and let's you know there's taro there but not as strongly as the pandan. Still a good flavored donut and a better review had I not gotten it on the same day I got the pandan.

The other flavors I had were what I expect for a donut and all good exemplars with good rise, properly cooked, and fresh.“

“I’ve lived in the area for years and finally tried this place—what a little treasure in our community! I needed to pick up 5 dozen donuts for my team at work, and since I was heading in early, I placed the order a couple of days ahead. They took down all the details, including a small special request, with no problem. When I arrived at 5am for pickup, everything was ready and absolutely perfect! “I was really dragging this morning. I didn't even want to get out of bed, I had work today. I went into yum yum to get some coffee. I didn't want Starbucks coffee that coffee is disgusting. I wanted to really strong coffee like Vietnamese or something. I went in there sluggish and down. Moses was there full of energy, gave me a really warm greeting.
