I had a great experience at Randy’s Donuts on Murphy Canyon Road in San Diego. I ordered the classic yeast-based glazed donut, a plain cake donut, and a chocolate Long John with cream. They also added some complimentary round sweet donuts, which was a nice touch.

Donuts always fresh and delicious.
Clean store, friendly staff, Great donuts (also large portions) at reasonable prices. The walls are nicely painted with historic info. More tables would be nice, but not entirely necessary.
