Hands down best Tortas Ahogadas! Just wished they opened late and Monday thru Sunday! Gives me a taste of my Moms hometown Guadalajara Jalisco Mexico! One of the best street foods in Mexico now in San Diego! Love it.
D-FUCKING-LICIOUS! I will drive from Oceanside to Chula Vista because that's how delicious the food is ! Unfortunately, they are currently having Renovations to the truck and won't be back on Broadway until late January. I contacted the owners to see if they had relocated because in their usual parking lot there was a bright yellow truck of can you guess? Used to be a food truck, now a restaurant. Their sandwiches consist of pulled pork drowned in what appears to be modified costco tomato soup, with the option of "special" sauce... Mayonnaise.
