I've been to this place 10+ times. It's a small mom & pop spot, serving the type of Korean fare that you might expect. It's widely considered to be one of the best Korean joints in SD and I don't dispute that. But the star of the show is the Kimchi jiggae. I usually don't order Kimchi jiggae in restaurants, but the kimchi jiggae here is my absolute favorite, and I always get it. Their banchan is also simple yet excellent. I adore the galbitang here. Super friendly staff and comforting food. Parking can be difficult so it’s helpful to avoid prime time.
