“Croutons is a great place to visit if you are on the UCSD campus looking for a quick lunch. Food comes out quickly and it is absolutely delicious. I've tried the chicken margherita panini, chicken pesto panini, tomato and basil soup, and the chicken and rice soup. Everything I've tired thus far has been AMAZING. So very delicious. The picture of the food TRULY does not do the flavor justice! Croutons is located in the middle of the New Student Services building. It can be difficult to find as it is hidden in the middle of the building on I believe the 2nd floor. Food: 10/10 Service: 10/10 The staff here are very nice. One time I was eating lunch in their seating area and their staff offered me a free chicken margherita sandwich!“
“I don’t understand why this place has such low stars- this is really good thai food! They had calamari option for noodles, which tasted so good, can’t get that at many other places. Service was good and fast, this place should have more stars.“
“Been here a couple of times before the theater. Love that it is so convenient. Menu a but pricey and sushi is ok, not amazing. Again come for the convenience. House wine is Opolo and is a great choice. Would be nice if they had a happy hour or specials for the theater goers.“
“Fantastic experience at this hot pot restaurant! Warm atmosphere, friendly staff, and the hot pot was just amazing - rich, flavorful broth with a great selection of fresh ingredients. Highly recommend for an authentic and satisfying meal. Can't wait to return!“
“Very tasty sandwich! It was a little hard to eat just because of the sunny side up egg and lack of toothpick, but oh so delicious and filling! I was pleasantly surprised that they were open after more than a year of waiting! The two ladies helped us with recommendations and described each menu item and made it so easy to order. For their soft opening they are offering 25% off but also don't have all their ingredients nor take-out containers. We tried the turkey sandwich with avocado, greens, and an egg, and papaya fruit juice (which was actually a smoothie!). Both are so refreshing and a nice change from the other restaurants in the Lomas Santa Fe Plaza. We will be back!“
“Fresh clean and taste delicious!!! Definitely a must. Don't miss out on Chef Boaz’s magic touch everything on Harissa's menus is, precisely seasoned Yummy.(I can't llive without Chef Boaz’s food and not just because he is my husband :)?)“
“Vegetariana Review:We've visited Kiin well in the doble digits. My wife and I have been to a variety of Thai restaurants in San Diego yet everytime we go back to Kiin we truly wonder why we even try any other place.I usually test a place by the quality of the fried rice. Many places have an excuse or fried rice. Very few specialize in it, so it's a great dish to test the overall quality of a place. Theirs is second to none I've had in San Diego so far.It is a very good place to go with mixed diets (vegan, omnivore, vegetarian). The menu isn't a huge selection, but at the same time I've never had a bad fish in this place. The portions are of good size, service has always been good, decorations are great. This however isn't a quiet place (specially at night) as there are several other dinners up there and there is music playing for all. This doesn't mean you can't have a conversation here, but keep in mind if you're looking for a more romantic place.“
“On food alone I would give 5 stars. Our first visit we were greeted with very rude front counter. Really started our dining experience on a sour note. However, we decided to assume that the server was just having a bad day. Glad we did, the food was delicious. We came back the next day for more.“
“Service and food are excellent. I can't get enough of their breakfast/lunch menu - specifically their huevos cazuela and the spicy tuna quesadilla. Both have tuna perfectly seasoned by axiote/achiote. You are missing out if you don't try it.“
“Excellent Taiwanese food! Staff are very friendly and service is top notch. Food has been better in the past, but it's still delicious. Sticky rice needed a bit of salt. XLB is always a treat. Everything is well thought out and carefully produced - from the food to the service to the decor.Parking: Parking is for the first two hours, then $3/hr“
“Awasome friendly and helpful service! I found myself starving and stuck in down town and am on a postop liquid based restricted diet. The guy at the counter(east coast possible owner) was right on it and hooked me with an amazing creamy pinto bean soup. Great atmosphere. Simple and chill. Very east coast vibe. Love it.“
“Do you like to eat intestines? This is the go to place for some of the best mouthwatering tasty intestines you will ever find! They specialize in intestines and offer 4 different types: small, large, abomasum and tripe. They do have other cuts of meats as well and they are all very tasteful. But if you love intestines this is the usual go to. Besides bbq they do offer other selection of food: tofu soups, rice dishes, jjajjamyun, and appetizersThey are not AYCE. They have different order option and the quality and quantity is very great so!Plz do keep in mind the meat quality is that greater than any AYCE which is why price is a little on the higher end but very well worth it.Every bbq order comes with corn cheese, kimchi stew, side dishes and salad. They do offer a great selection of dipping sauces for your meat don't be afraid to ask. I recommend vinegar on the side for your intestines.Service is always great and fast. They come around and moved around and cook the meat for you which is nice.“
“We sat on the patio. I’m here from out of town and have to eat clear liquids. The gal at the checkout suggested the shiitake & daikon soup. It was delicious!!! I got some more to go. My friends ordered from the appetizers and sides menu. The portions were very generous and delicious. If I’d live here, I’d come here often.“
“The food quality and the staff's service are top notch. However, the pricing is way off. After spending $150 on two people I was hungry so went to H Mark down the street and got a pastry. I also ate a spare jerky that was left in my car. The tea was delicious as well.Next time, I'll probably go to the Korean BBQ in the same shopping center and the two of us will eat and be full for 1/3 the price.“
“The food was authentic and tasted great! The xiao long bao is one of the best I’ve ever had! Service was okay. You can’t really customize the food if it were for children. For example, we wanted the orange chicken but with the sauce on the side. They couldn’t do it or maybe they didn’t understand us but that’s okay. They could really improve by greeting you with a smile and thanking you as you walk out. A friendly demeanor is what I meant. We walked in right before dinner time so it was really busy right after we sat down and the place was a full house with lots of noise. Understandable, but overall, a good experience.“
“Started the day with an amazing massage at the Holiday Spa just down the road from here and got some intensely delicious pho right after. As soon as you walk into this restaurant, you get hit with the aromas of the broth. Service was super fast too!The pho was perfect and the beef we got was sizzling. Fatty and delicious. Everything was so flavorful! It’s the perfect day trip in Point Loma! Will def be backVegetarian options: We didn’t get vegetarian dishes but there was a ton of tofu options“
“The culinary experience provided by this establishment is truly remarkable. The Pho broth, in particular, stands out as exceptional, surpassing any other we have encountered. It is evident that this establishment experiences a significant influx of customers during both lunch and dinner hours. Furthermore, free 2 hours parking, which adds to its appeal. The service provided by the staff is characterized by warmth and friendliness, creating a welcoming ambiance for patrons.“
“Food us Amazing and Restaurant is Beautiful. The night we were there they had A Mariachi band and was told we had a 45 minute wait but food is worth it and we stayed and it only took about 25 minutes. Definitely a must eat at if you haven't been“
“When it comes to starting to be busy, I hope she needs at least one helper. Basically, she was doing multitasking like in cashier, receiving food orders, bringing foods at table and cleaning the tables. I just finished my food and sat on the table and I've been waiting for my food order to go, to give it to me, unfortunately I waited for about 20 minutes. The food is actually ready, and I know she was very busy and totally understood that. When I asked if my to go food is ready, then she gave it to me. Finally, going out the door exit, then she asked me if I paid already. I said I paid already before taking my food orders at the cashier. But she apologized, and I don't blame her because she was kinda tired. Anyway, she has good personality and customer service. Also, the food is delicious.“
“Came here to try their mapo tofu after having an extraordinary version of the dish at Taste of Chengdu in Orlando.?Although it didn’t reach the excellence of TOC’s version, this was nevertheless very good.?There’s a bit of a language barrier here, but communication was adequately achieved with pointing and gesturing of various sorts.?Ambiance was about as expected for a smallish strip-mall restaurant of this type.“
“This place has had the honor of serving famous people like former president Mr.Obama, Robert Dinero and many others. I believe the prices are fair, and the friendly customer service and tasty food keeps me coming for more. The servers always seem to be young, sweet and eager to please. I absolutely Love this place. Not to mention they have alcohol beverages ??and boba drinks ?“
“Lived in Del Mar for 14 years now and I have to say that without fail Kotija Jr. Delivers great Mexican food each time I go there. The guys working there are super chill and laid back which is rad. The portions are big and you get a lot for your money. The fish tacos, Al Pastor and tried and true California burrito are fantastic. The food is done pretty quick and comes out hot and fresh. If you're big into Mexican food and wanna have a chill Denali definitely go here.“
“For an events space, definitely a cool place to visit. There are bathrooms but for the size, can definitely be expanded. Very limited drink options. The art and design is reminiscient to Do Lab at Coachella. Would like to see another show here at some point.“
“Go inside lobby of 501 Office building. If you don’t know that this cafe is inside the back of the lobby of the office building at 501 Broadway, you’ll never find this place. There’s no sign outside for the bistro.I had the chicken salad sandwich. It was delicious. For us wannabe coffee snobs... The double espresso was bitter; perhaps because it was a little larger than I expected and using more water to provide a larger portion risks making a bitter espresso due to over extraction. The pastries looked delicious.Shop is cute, clean and comfy.“
“All the dishes we try were delicious. The prices are affordable. The service was good also. Love all the decorations and the garden was my favorite. We are coming back for sure. I loved all of it from the food to the service to the vibe and the decoración. Please give it a try you would not regret it.“
“The food: 1. The mì quảng ếch was alright, the flavors were not as bold or captivating as I expected, I added a good amount of chili to it. The frog meat was very, very tender to my liking. 2. My friend ordered the bún mắm heo quay and this was way better than what I ordered tbh. Pork belly was very crispy, the fermented fish sauce was bold and rich with umami and acidity as I expected. The pickled carrots and daikon that came with the noodles added some pleasant sour taste as well. The service: Average, the waitress came to take our order and she asked us if we needed anything else. Nothing extraordinary. The ambiance: The music could be a little louder, I could clearly hear other people's voices in the restaurant. It was pretty empty on an early Saturday evening though. Be warned that it's a struggle to find parking in this plaza's parking lot.“
“I love 55 thai!!!! It is for sure the best thai in san diego. Their flavors are strong and bold. Their spice level is actually spicy! They have the legit little thai chilis. The restaurant is very accommodating and can make almost anything gluten free. Veggies are always fresh. This is my go-to thai spot“
“Love getting their jjajangmyeon (black bean noodle) and tang su yuk (deep fried pork with sweet & sour sauce)! It's a classic duo to get. If you happen to get it as a take-out and you have the fire noodle hot sauce on hand, add some to your noodles and it will take it to a whole other level!“
“Near my work so I thought I would try it. Not a big food selection, but I was happy enough with it. I placed my order online for pickup so I wouldn't have to wait in line. It was ready and hot by the time I got there, so their timing is accurate. It's a small place, but has a decent amount of seats. I got their lunch special with half a sammich and soup. I got the Chicken Pesto sammich and Farmhouse Vegetable soup. Between the two, the soup was my favorite. It was packed with flavor and they don't skimp on any of the ingredients. I could've eaten an entire pint of that and I wished I had gotten more. The sammich was good too, but it didn't blow me away. It definitely could've used more pesto all around or a stronger pesto flavor. Not sure if they make the pesto themselves, but possibly tweaking the recipe would help. Price is pretty good for what you get. I would love to come back and try their other soups once the temperature cools back down in a bit.“
“My husband and I love this place !! We live in University city and AAHARN restaurant is the best Thai restaurant in University city. We have tried so many dishes such as Lamb massaman, Neu Nam Tok, Chicken biryani. We love them all! Our server was very nice and kind. I highly recommend this restaurant. ♥️♥️♥️“
“Incredible Vietnamese sandwich. I had the grilled chicken and it tasted so amazing. I also had the surf and turf fries, which were really tasty but still had the Vietnamese spices and flavoring on the meat. It was pretty good. The banh mi was very filling and the chicken was thick pieces. Both meals could have easily been shared, they were very large portions. They told me that my order would be done in 10 minutes and it was probably done even faster. I highly recommend checking this out.One thing to note is the prices online are not the prices in the store. Both items were around $13 dollars, but definitely still worth it. The sandwich was as long as much thigh!“
“It has been 28 years since my 1st visit back to San Diego California from Canada! This was the only restaurant brand I knew and could think of, so we chose to come here from our hotel the Harbor Island Hilton across town. It was worth the 35-minute wait for a Saturday night. Dominique our waiter was good too.“
“It's 24/7, letting anybody come in at any time to get coffee and food and provide a great study/workspace for early birds or night owls. As someone who commutes, it's a great place for me to take a break and do some writing.Parking: It depends the time of day you go. While I had no problem finding nearby parking, I also went after 10PM when most of the businesses had already closed.“
“Pick up Order:Staff was friendly upon pick-up. Staff also read the special instructions note and granted my request asking for pepper that I could add to my Hong Kong Noodles.Best Asian fusion place I've been to. Loved the notable Southeast Asian notes with popular East Asian Dishes. Will have to try more of the menu to find more Asian influences!Food: As a Lao gal, I loved everything!!Hong Kong Style Noodles: Broth was so I good I had to take a second sip to make sure I tasted it right. The Cha Shu Pork was absolutely amazing! I usually don't like that style of pork because of the texture I usually find in ramen, but this Cha Shu Pork was SO SO SO flavorful and cooked to perfection that it just melted in my mouth. It must've been basted over flame because the flavor was present throughout the pieces (4) and it has a yummy sweet, charred umami flavor.Szechuan Spicy Chicken Wontons: ACTUALLY spicy and were yummy and filling. New kind of wrap for me (thin and silky) but still delicious.Satay Chicken: I smelled the satay chicken the moment I got back in my car. I had to fight myself from digging into the bottom of the bag and taking a bite right then and there. They wrapped it in foil so it was still warm and flavorful when I got home.Beer: Learning to like beer, but the TOM YUM BEER American Wheat Beer was so refreshing and helped cut through the spices so I could continue to enjoy my meal (it actually says it on the back! I didn't see until after my meal lol). Cool to see the other Thai beers, will be trying them next time!Overall 11/10! Will be going back and trying the rest of the menu.Vegetarian options: All the vegetarian dishes have a green "VH" marked at the bottom of the description. SEA food tends to have a good variety of Vegetarian dishes.Wheelchair accessibility: Accessible right off the sidewalk and is a one story shop with no stairs or barriers. Swing door must be pulled open and is the standard door size. Tables and chairs can be moved to be accessible to wheelchair users.“
“The food is authentic and the atmosphere charming for La Jolla. It is nice to have a neighborhood restaurant that has table service. The place cards on the table limiting the time to an hour & 30 minutes is tacky. The soft shell crab taco was fresh and delicious. The shrimp posole was served with traditional sides. The wine was nice and priced right.“
