I wanted to go and talk to the cook whom I believe was the owner back when I used to go 20 years ago on my route during work but unfortunately was in a hurry. I am a chef and believe that this restaurant is the most authentic and flavorful of all the burrito places in San Diego. Best overall flavor and menu.
They offer one of the best breakfast burritos in town! The carne asada is excellent as well and you can’t go wrong with the tortilla soup.Consistency seems to be an issue, though. I got a carnitas burrito that was not good at all. Wayyy too greasy. Also sometimes the chicken is really tough and rubbery. I usually stick with either the carne asada or breakfast burrito. Exactly the place you should have street style, Tex-Mex food..We ordered some tacos and enchilada . Both are really good. The tacos were absolutely delight to look at with all the red and green. We got the mixed enchilada chicken on one side and Beef. Both the rice and beans were tasting.
