“We found this one, after the one closed during the pandemic off of Clariemont. Not sure if there is any relation between the 2. Came Saturday early afternoon, greeted and seated right away. We ordered the dinner for 2 where we got appetizer, soup, and an entree. They are very very generous with serving sizes, we forgot ourselves and couldn't eat it all. But who doesn't like left overs? Food came out hot and quick! And most importantly tasty! When I say tasty, it has a very nice flavor and freshness with vegetables and meat cook to order. I had the pheasant soong chicken, chicken lettuce cups essentially. Generous size, definitely enough to share for 2, comes with rice of choice. Nice and coated, not dry and smooth tender chicken. Would get again. The 3 ingredient taste, a surf n turf with shrimp and beef. A little on the bland side, but in plenty of shrimp and meat. The wor wonton soup, broth was a nice veggie taste with the added ingredients veggies, shrimp and meat wonton. Not my favorite personally only bc the pieces were so big, it felt more like a meal it self, however can appreciate it for what it is. The appetizer came with fried egg rolls, cream cheese wonton, shrimp, meat sticks... plenty plenty plenty of food. The price per person serves well for what you get and the amount of food. We enjoyed it, not enough to call a favorite place... but a place we will add in rotation where we and when we eat different types of food. Solid 4 stars maybe 3.5 however service was speedy and friendly and they pack up your leftovers. Plenty of parking Restrooms are clean Very lovely inside and can seat large parties! Enjoy!“
“The location was clean, the staff was great but the food I ended up with wasn't the freshest. I stopped in here as I was on a business trip and it was a familiar place. I'd still recommend this Panera, just be sure to double check your food item.“
“wow wow wow! I came here yesterday and it will now be my go-to place when I am in Mira Mesa! Talk about express, I was nervous that I wasn't going to make an appointment in the afternoon, but chose to eat lunch here anyways. I was in and out within 45 minutes. You sign in outside and wait for someone to bring you to your table. Right when you sit down, the menus are there. Within a few minutes, the waiter came asking for our orders. I urgently scrolled through ordered pho and egg rolls. A cart came with our waters and drinks. about 5 minutes after that our eggs rolls came. About 5 minutes after that, all our orders came and there was 4 of us. By the time we finished eating, we had only been there for about 30-40 minutes. We would of stayed longer but felt like we needed to leave as they wanted to clear our table for the next group. If you are short on time and want a delicious meal, come here! I have never had such fast service, the food was hot and delicious, drinks were continuously getting filled. Normally, start to finish would be about 1.5 hrs to 2hrs, we were out and full in 45 minutes. The price alone is another reason to come here, way cheaper than other places i have gone to. Ample seating and they have it down with seating arrangements. I can't wait to come back!“
“This place is small but OMG! Don't put the food in your mouth when it comes to your table because it is literally steaming hot! The chicken wings are like none I've ever had and fantastic orange chicken, egg rolls etc... DON'T MISS OUT!“
“Been here twice already. First time with a large group of friends and another with just the hubs. We didn't have that big of a problem when there were 6 of us. We came before the dinner rush and were seated immediately and were asked what drink we would like. They do give physical menus but if it's super busy, you can just scan the QR code, view the menu on your phone, as well as order through the phone. Pretty efficient, no complaints. The servers are nice too. We really liked the variety of food that we ordered from here. We got the XLB, and it was good. The skin is a little thicker than I like but overall, there was soup inside and the skin didn't break. Oh, and the flavor was good. We also ordered the pan fried chicken dumplings and those were crispy outside and bursting with flavor inside. It was a good plump dumpling. There is chili oil, vinegar and soy on the table, if you want to make a dipping sauce. We also ordered the green beans and that was just okay to me. The bok choy with garlic was crispy and light in flavor, it's almost like a palate cleanser, which was nice. We also had the popcorn chicken and that had a good crunch to it. Another dish we ordered was the fried rice and it actually had a good amount of toppings in it. It just wasn't all rice. It also wasn't oily. We also ordered the eggplant dish and that was slightly sweet and a hint of spicy, from what I could remember. You need some plain rice to eat it with. And my favorite dish would be the mapo tofu. It had that numbing flavor and it had a great kick to it. It's nice that it comes with plain rice but man, you need more rice than what they give because it's nice to soak up all the sauce. I love it. Two other dishes we ordered were the shrimp and pork wonton soup and pork spare ribs with garlic. The soup had a nice clean broth that was packed with sesame oil and white pepper flavor, among other things I tasted in the broth. The dumplings were plump and had a good amount of filling inside. It was also nice to have some fresh crisp bok choy as well. The pork spare ribs were crispy outside and soft and tender inside. Not a lot had bone and I appreciated that. They top it off with jalapeño, onion, garlic bits and that was good with the pork and rice, all eaten in one bite. The prices are a little on the pricier side. But the portions were fair and the flavor of the dishes we've had were really really good. Oh wait, we also have had the beef roll. And my friends and husband have said that it rivals a decent LA version. So I'll take their word for it. I realize that we also had the cumin lamb, which they said wasn't very game, but you can tell it's lamb. They said it was tender and a good amount of cumin flavor. The cucumber side dish was crisp and had a good amount of garlic and vinegar. At least that's what I tasted. We will definitely come back here again and again.“
“I'll say this, if you only order the spare ribs off of the appetizer menu, you'll be completely satisfied! I ordered lo mein and the ribs together. The noodles came out quickly and were 2/5. Nothing special. But when the ribs came out I was shocked! So many and so big! Absolutely delicious sauce! Growing up in BBQ heaven, these are easily some of the best ribs I've ever had! 9/10!!! Order the spare ribs!“
“Small neighborhood sushi spot with great sushi and sake! The sake specials are something to definitely take advantage of! Unfortunately the bang bang corn was not in season during my most recent visit, but we’ll be back in no time. It would be best to call for a reservation, as they do get busy.Parking: Parking sports in front of restaurant and neighborhood parking.“
“If you love duck, you'll love this place! The duck is cooked well and the portions are great for the price. The noodles are hand pulled and the broth brings it all together. The chili wontons are a must try as well.Plenty of seating and complimentary hot and sour soup that is pretty good. You get the restauranty quality food in a fast food ambiance“
“Delicious! We got the dumpling and wonton egg noodle soup, the combo egg noodle soup (#27), veggie egg rolls, and fried dough ("donuts"). The donuts were warm, nice and crispy on the outside, soft and chewy on the inside. Egg noodles were delicious and broth for both our soups were excellent.“
“If you want to have real Colombian food without cutting any corners, this is the place! I have visited the restaurant several times, and each time it is a do over. I was born in Cali, Colombia in 1961, and the flavor of the food reminds me what real Colombian food taste like. The staff is friendly, and the owner is a very special, hard-working woman. Hats off to her and her business. I recommend this restaurant. Dr. Fernando Garay San Diego“
“Some of the best Mexican food you will find in San Diego (which is saying a lot). Extensive menu, which has a lot of lamb items, but also vegatarian options. The flavors are amazing, and it is clear they use very fresh ingrediants. Personal favorites: Green pozole, squash blossom quesadilla, enchiladas with mole sauce.“
“My son has food allergies and Olive Garden is one of our favorite places to go as they have a clear menu allergy information available both online and on the gadget they have on the table. They also has some policies to minimize cross contaminations and don’t use peanut oil for frying.Carmel Mountain location is very kids friendly and all servers are nice and professional.“
“I've been going to the DT one for over 10 years, and recently had this location since I moved to the area. It is just as delicious & comfortable as DT. I could drink their broth all day long and their calamari is my favorite in San Diego. Always a good & satisfying time when I go!“
“Our server was The BEST! She was busy, but didn't rush through anything with us. Wish I remembered he name ... would love to give her a shout out to her supervisor.Dietary restrictions: Wish they had vegan cheese options.Kid-friendliness: Very kid friendly ... even to my husband who likes ordering from the kids menu.“
“Visited 11/2/203Well another Tasty Vietnamese, Soup, Chinese Family Owned and Run Restaurant under my Belt. 11/2/2023After seeing this place on Yelp and their Website I just had to give it a try for Lunch. In a strip mall with lots of free parking is a nice clean Restaurant with lots of seating and Friendly Owners and Staff.Nice selection on the menu and will custom make your dishes per your request. They kept checking with me to see that I wasn't in need of anything and that the food was satisfactory. As for the food I ordered,,The Garlic Noodles with added Shrimp. Great Flavor and the shrimp were cooked perfectly.Next time I want to Try The Phad Thai Noodles with Shrimp and Filet Mignon. Looks Amazing. Next I Had to Try The LA Style Short Ribs as they looked Fabulous in The Pictures. First they give you a very generous portion as you can see in my pictures. And Guess What ? They Taste as good as They Look. Grilled in a very tasty sauce with grilled Onions and served with Steamed Jasmine Rice and A Delicious Asian Cucumber Salad.I wanted a extra serving of that salad. All in All the food was very satisfying and I enjoyed it very much.I will come back to try more of the menu without a doubt. And by the way I took home half of these plates for Dinner.Leftovers Never Tasted So Good. Worth a Visit.“
“I love Iron Pan Thai and have been going here for over 2 years now. Their lunch specials are perfect for a quick lunch and their dinners are enough for 2 people to share. We order a lot of take-out because they are so quick and have a lot of vegetarian and vegan options when friends/family visit. They also offer catering which I did for a party of 60 people. They gave so much food and we got a lot of compliments about the food being delicious and fresh. I would totally cater with them again!“
“Delicious! Stopped here because it had some great reviews on Yelp. My daughter and I each ordered the carne asada burritos. They normally come with pico de gallo and guacamole. We ordered one that way and another one with guacamole and cheese, no pico. The man who took our order was very customer service oriented and he was helpful when we asked questions. We waited about 6 minutes and our order was ready. I opted for green salsa and we took our food home.We ran into traffic, so it was longer than 15min drive. The great news was that the burritos were still hot and delicious when we ate them...in the car! We are definitely coming back to this place. This is definitely a new Mexican food spot on our list. And, they have BIRRIA here!“
“Dinner was delicious and service was great. It helped to dine here for an early dinner. Better parking and less people! The salt & pepper wings appetizer was delicious. Mongolian beef was very tender and full of flavor. The hot pot we ordered had shrimp, scallops and chicken and vegetables in brown sauce (can't remember the exact name of the dish). Very, very good dish!“
“Daniel was exceptional ~ we will be back as he made us feel like a valued customer. We had dined at Olive Garden for years and 12/6/23 was a special occasion my Mom and I celebrated our birthdays together. Thank you for making our memory a wonderful one.
