“What an adorable cafe! We had reservations & it was packed for lunch on a Thursday. I had Eggs Benedict & my daughter ordered the Quiche. Both arrived quickly & both were fantastic! The portions are huge. We had to have take home box. It is someplace we definitely want to go back to.Dietary restrictions: I can’t have spicy food, onions, peppers, chile… they were happy to accomodate.Wheelchair accessibility: They make room for wheelchair and there is also seating outside, in front of the cafe.“

“The food was delicious…worth the wait!Scallops, halibut, and truffle pasta all get ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. Staff was super friendly and incredibly accommodating- made my kiddo a grilled cheese (off the menu) that she declared was “the best, ever!”“

“Many have enjoyed the pasta, pizza and salad at Buona Forchetta. My review is on their brunch on Friday, Saturday and Sunday mornings. It’s not well known that they are offering one of the best brunches in Coronado. We had the Eggs Benedict and it was delicious with one of the best hollandaise sauces I’ve ever had. The homemade English muffin and all of the ingredients were top notch. The restaurant was empty on a Friday morning so I think it’s time that the word got out that just a short walk from Orange Avenue, there is an outstanding brunch with a varied innovative menu! We very much enjoyed it!“

“Nice place. Steaks were excellent and cooked perfectly. Service was good. French Onions Soup was so hot that we could not eat it for quite a while. Came in a metal bowl that could not be touched because it was so hot. Also, lacked salt which we asked for. No salt or pepper on table. Received a tiny little bowl with not much salt in it. Very noisy. Very expensive which we knew from their website. Good place for a special occasion.“

“BEST SERVICE! I was waiting for a friend, who was pretty late, they served me a drink and didn't hassle me about sitting there. When she arrived we talked 2 hours. They checked on us, even brought us bags (we had a lot of gifts for each other). I never felt rushed. Food was large portions, great chips and salsa! We felt very comfortable. Even Miguel's family came by to say hello. Great location by a lake with indoor or outdoor seating.“

“Enjoying brunch outside at Feast and Fareway. This is our 2nd visit on our Cornado trip. Today we had the French toast and pancake sampler as well as the blue crab Benedict. So yummy and we will return! Savannah is an excellent server as well! The view is amazing with the bay and the bridge and right on the golf course. The mood is very laid back - we feel super comfortable here! Just relax and enjoy a good meal!“

“French food is one of my favorites. This location has some of the best coffee and dishes to choose from. Our service was perfect. We arrived at opening and were warmly welcome to a table of our choosing. Starting the day in an atmosphere so calming and pleasant was want anyone should do. Definitely recommend stopping by for a meal here!“

“Overall great experience at the Coronado Brewing Company.Arrived at around 6pm on a Thursday evening and although the bar area (front) had a decent crowd, the tabled rear area was fairly empty.Staff was very friendly and helpful.A decent selection of food and beer...everything was reasonably priced. Beer was fresh. The food was good-very good. Would love to return and try some other food items.Great environment.Street parking available along Orange Avenue...we didn't have a problem finding a space at that time.“

“A nice little spot in Coronado. Employees were great. I ordered a Sicilian sausage and pepper pizza, pizza knots, an Italian chopped salad. Everything was very good. I think in the future I will ask for extra cheese and garbanzo beans in the salad, just because I like them so much. Refillable soft drinks are available, you just have to go to them to refill which was not a problem at all.“

“The look and feel of this place is cozy and easygoing. They have some smooth jazz playing, which is refreshing. There was a great selection of drinks. The pastries look really good, and the coffee is also fresh and taken care of. What really got me was the food!I got the eggs Benedict and oh my God I have never in my whole life ever had a ham steak that tasted this incredible! I didn't even recognise the ham at first because I was expecting an entirely different flavor and texture like every other ham steak I've ever had. These guys do it justice! The rest of the eggs Benedict was just as carefully created.“

“This is 3 places in 1! On the corner is a dinner vibe with outdoor tables. Very traditional American food. Next to it is a window walk up coffee shop. Next to that is Clayton’s Mexican Takeout. Walk in the door to order and there’s 2 tables outside so you can eat on site. The portions are huge, the flavor is great! We came in and got the King Monster Burrito and the Coronado Surf and Turf Burrito. Both were amazing! We will definitely be coming back to try more things on the menu!Parking: There is no dedicated parking lot so you have to find street parking. Depending on the time of day parking normally isn’t too big of an issue.“

“Rosie was very pleasant as our server. The atmosphere is rustic and chic! Very comfortable booths and fresh flowers and real candles on each table. Cocktails were interesting and very good. The food was excellent. Goat cheese flatbread was our favorite! The burger super tasty and the red leaf pear salad with peach dressing was yummy.“
“I recommend the Sand Dabs and Trout Amandine for the best value for your money. They are delicious and satisfy a hungry appetite. If you order the cioppino, depending on the day, you may have to order something else or ask for more bread. Overall, great ambience, service and food. Also Jim, the manager, is customer focused and wants to ensure every patron is happy with their experience.“

“We came for lunch on a regular weekday in mid April, not a busy time in Coronado. Our server was very friendly & knowledgeable. We had appetizers, salad and pasta. All delicious and served quickly and kindly. I don't eat much pasta but I really liked this pasta. Happy to have a good pasta option in Coronado I can walk to.“

“The food was excellent one of my kids ordered a Belgian waffle that I tried it and really enjoyed it. The omelet that me and my wife ordered was excellent which was a smaller portion, which I liked for a breakfast serving portion. Their service was above and beyond, the server kept checking in on us making sure we were happy. They are always smiling and welcoming. The atmosphere, if you walk down here at first glance looks like a home, which is different from what you are used to which makes this place unique which I love. Be sure if you guys are in Coronado make sure to come here and try the breakfast.“

“Found this by accident. Before heading to airport we all felt like getting some good Coronado pizza. I pulled car over to do a search, and it was right next to us.Excellent freshly made pizza to enjoy relaxing on their sidewalk table side dining. “Been to several locations for the 1/2 off chicken sandwich and fries. But not Fri, Sat and Sun. Had the Classic Lounger Burger. Not bad, a bit salty but not bad. Service was polite and professional. Wouldn’t come back for a burger as the grilled chicken sandwich is superior tasting.“

“We all deserve a second chance and II Fornaio is not exempt. I was told to try this place for a nice meal. My family visited this establishment a few weeks back. Unfortunately, we had one of the worst experiences ever. Lack of attentiveness, service, taste, & dining experience. We left waiting to speak to a manager that never came as he was taking care of another matter and I didn't want to wait any longer. I got home and my wife insisted that I call to report our experience and give the manager a chance to do something about it. I spoke with Assistant General Manager Antonio Ramirez who apologized and said he would investigate and call me the following morning. Needless to say he didn't return the call for a week later. I honestly thought he forgot. Mr Ramirez called and once again apologize and offered to pay for our meal on the next visit. He was genuinely concerned about the companies reputation and making up for a poor experience. I returned the following week with a complete different situation. Mr Ramirez introduced himself, followed the hostess to our seat, took the unused glasses and offered to get our drinks. The busser, he could easily pass for Santa Claus, was johnny on the spot with water, tea and refills. Our waitress, Susan was what all should aspire to as far as a quality food server. Susan was suggestive of everything, we chose two of her recommendations and were not unhappy. Between Mr. Ramirez, Susan and Santa Claus (sorry never got the busser's name), my wife and I had the best dining experience that turned our hearts to highly recommend II Fornaio as the place to frequent for that wonderful dining experience. We will definitely return to dine after this time. Thank you for changing our hearts to believe in you. It's time to make Assistant General Manager Antonio Ramirez General Manager with his attitude, demeaner, and loyalty to the company and the return of a good customer experience. Thank you, Thank you and Thank you.“

“May 2024. Not as good as last year. Hit and miss. The inside ambience was certainly lacking with "white out" and a painted table. The service was nice, but it was slow and discombobulated. It took forever to get our 1st drinks and forever to get our bill. The sequencing of bringing out our food was poor as well. The food was mostly good. Standouts included the octopus and several of the potato dishes. Misses included the oysters (too small) and scallops (small portion, salty, and overcooked). Be sure to order the lamb on the rare side - I ordered MR and it came out M+. They were out of the 1st two wines we ordered, and the wine list wasn't extensive. My biggest gripe was no horseradish. How can you serve oysters, lamb, steak, and Bloody Marys and have no horseradish in the house?!?Vegetarian options: Enough“
