“first time coming to this restaurant and the atmosphere was great and the service was amazing too. we sat out front and the umbrellas provided enough shade for morning time sun. they played awesome chill jazz and r&b music i loved the vibe the whole time we ate. i ordered the napolitano joe’s and it was very good the veggies were cooked perfectly and the chicken sausage, i think it was, was really good! sourdough bread was REALLY good too.“

“We all deserve a second chance and II Fornaio is not exempt. I was told to try this place for a nice meal. My family visited this establishment a few weeks back. Unfortunately, we had one of the worst experiences ever. Lack of attentiveness, service, taste, & dining experience. We left waiting to speak to a manager that never came as he was taking care of another matter and I didn't want to wait any longer. I got home and my wife insisted that I call to report our experience and give the manager a chance to do something about it. I spoke with Assistant General Manager Antonio Ramirez who apologized and said he would investigate and call me the following morning. Needless to say he didn't return the call for a week later. I honestly thought he forgot. Mr Ramirez called and once again apologize and offered to pay for our meal on the next visit. He was genuinely concerned about the companies reputation and making up for a poor experience. I returned the following week with a complete different situation. Mr Ramirez introduced himself, followed the hostess to our seat, took the unused glasses and offered to get our drinks. The busser, he could easily pass for Santa Claus, was johnny on the spot with water, tea and refills. Our waitress, Susan was what all should aspire to as far as a quality food server. Susan was suggestive of everything, we chose two of her recommendations and were not unhappy. Between Mr. Ramirez, Susan and Santa Claus (sorry never got the busser's name), my wife and I had the best dining experience that turned our hearts to highly recommend II Fornaio as the place to frequent for that wonderful dining experience. We will definitely return to dine after this time. Thank you for changing our hearts to believe in you. It's time to make Assistant General Manager Antonio Ramirez General Manager with his attitude, demeaner, and loyalty to the company and the return of a good customer experience. “Quaint little spot with a giant personality. The place is aesthetically decorated but yet a homely feel with their attentive staff. We were served by Luciano and he was great! His Italian flair made for an enjoyable time. I would definitely come back for their limoncello and Luciano!“

“So, I am updating my review. I still love Spiros, both locations,but this particular location has amazing views. However, the service here is not great, mostly 1 person, but they are always there, always taking the orders, which makes him hard to avoid. I believe his name is Steve. I literally dread placing my order when he's there. He is a very stressful person and therefore makes the ordering experience stressful. I go anyway with my family, this place isn't cheap for a casual place but the food is great. Well, recently I had an interaction with this guy that really upset me and my fam, he was very rude in front of customers and tried to make us feel bad. It was busier than normal because it was holiday time and events were happening. I will be contacting management personally but just beware of this guy when you go. Seriously disappointed.“

“Food was great. Bar was a little slow with cocktails. Will come back, great meal on the bay. Note to management: You need to change the paper menus more often. They were dirty and full of finger print stains. Even asked for another set and they were the same. Not a good first impression for a high end meal.“

“I had dinner here on a Sunday night. The atmosphere was great outside. It was a little chilly, but they have outdoor heaters. I would still recommend bringing a jacket with the breeze. I ordered the Greek salad, red wine, and the bolognese. My only complaint would be how long the entree took to come out. I was already there for about an hour before my entree came. It was amazing and I forgot about how long it took. Overall pleased. Be ready to spend a fair amount of money especially if you want appetizers and drinks.“

“The food, quality, cleanliness, and service is always great for a DFAC. Their hours are inconvenient if you don’t have a regular lunch or dinner start/end time. They could have a non made to order option outside of main hours, or longer lunch hours. Also, they don’t allow to go containers.“

“Great view whichever direction you look. Cozy atmosphere but pretty expensive considering where it is located. Nice deck but lounge area with fire pit has a minimum of $175 , so that's great if you have a group. Parking is pretty steep specially if you're only visiting for the day. I recommend taking a rideshare. It could be cheaper depending on how far you are from the hotel.“
