“Placed an order for pickup, showed up at the pickup time and there were like 20 people standing around upset. The girl at the counter didn't say hi, wouldn't even acknowledge my existence. After 10 minutes of standing around I left. Eventually, my girlfriend went in and got our order (like 40 minutes after the pickup time). Food was great as always, service was garbage. I won't be returning to this location“

“Short Version- I would Highley recommend to come to Prime Cut, High Quality food and Amazing Atmosphere.

Longer version- I took my dad out for father's day dinner, I was pleasantly surprised at the quality and price of the food. There was an amazing atmosphere.We got to sit outside by ourself, while being blessed , and uplifted by the piano while we enjoyed our meal. I got the tasting menu , which is plenty for 2 people but we went all out. We had ordered clam chowder, broccol cheddar soup, the tasting menu, and the seafood pasta, we also got the drinks to a company the respected food. I would highly highly highly recommend this place.“

“I had the pleasure of visiting Cali BBQ while staying in the area. There wasn't a wait to be seated which was nice. My server was very polite, attentive and helpful. When I visit a bbq place for the first time I usually try their brisket. If you can't do great brisket then you should just close up shop. Cali's brisket was easily one of the best briskets I have ever had. Tender with a smoke that was on point. I had the sandwich but if I am ever lucky enough to get back to Spring Valley my plan is to order the plate. I chose Mac &Cheese as a side and it was very nicely done. Such excellent food!! I liked that I could sit and watch one of the TVs if I wanted to but ignoring them was possible too. The vibe was very inviting and comfortable. I look forward to visiting again!“

“Hit the spot. The authentic pho broth was bomb, and they are super generous with the meat portions. Plus, because it was Father’s Day, they gave us an unsolicited 10% discount, which was kind. Fresh toppings, great food, and love the stone bowl presentation. Will definitely be back.“

“So today my family wanted pick up stix and I didn't want to get pickup stix due to the odd interaction I had last time I went in. I have been going to this location for years and have never had any issue besides the last visit. There is a cashier that is an older gentleman who refuses to give extra sauce and will literally go back and forth over a couple sauce packets. I am buying for 3 people and the 2 siracha that he said is already in the bag is not enough. I decided oh well it probably will not be a thing today, but unfortunately the same guy today did it again. I asked him what the issue was and he stated that the sauce is in the bag already. I asked do I need to pay for extra sauce and if so I will, he stated no I don't need to then finally agreed to give me sauce. I have never ran into this situation ever at any restraunt where when I am paying for the meal I have to argue and ask several times for a couple extra packets of sauce. It's wild and unprofessional to think you need to argue with a customer over 4 siracha packets.“

“This is one of our favorite places to take friends when they come to visit. We took our parents last night, and it was perfect. The patio is the best place (I think) to enjoy a meal and the buzz of La Mesa. We happened to come when they were doing an outdoor street concert. The energy was perfect!
Our favorite thing to order is the La Reina molcajete. It's cheesy deliciousness and we ended up eating our leftovers for days. We tried the La Jefa version last night. Still very good and plenty for two people. I love all the fun cocktails you can order, and the service is exactly what you'd expect for a CRG restaurant - friendly and attentive.
Restrooms are clean, there is plenty of parking behind the restaurant, and the food is wonderful.“

“Went there last night 07/14 for my husband and I's first wedding anniversary. We came about an hour to closing but despite that staff was amazing. Our server was very kind and attentive. The food was absolutely amazing as well and they weren't upset when we misspoke and accidentally ordered the wrong thing, they corrected it and were patient. Have always really liked this location for the friendly staff and will continue to be a patron!“

“I come to San Diego often to visit my family, and during one visit I was craving Thai food so we looked up a place nearby and this restaurant came up. Luck was on our side because this turned out to be such a great meal! When my family and I came in we needed a table to seat 6 people and they quickly got a table together for us. I ordered the red curry with vegetables and this place truly lived up to its name! The ingredients tasted fresh and the curry was so delicious. Everyone enjoyed their meal. As we ate and talked we saw a lot of people come in to pick up take out orders, no one else came to dine in. There are a few tables though and I suggest dining in at least once a - we were able to meet the chef/owner and he was such a nice guy. Really seemed to care about each plate that came out. I can’t wait to visit my family again and enjoy some good food and conversation here!“
