“Placed an order for pickup, showed up at the pickup time and there were like 20 people standing around upset. The girl at the counter didn't say hi, wouldn't even acknowledge my existence. After 10 minutes of standing around I left. Eventually, my girlfriend went in and got our order (like 40 minutes after the pickup time). Food was great as always, service was garbage. I won't be returning to this location“

“After trying the dan dan noodles at a vegan pop-up market today, I can not stop thinking about them! The noodles, the OmniPork, the crisp veggies. Amazing. My boyfriend had the spring rolls and really liked them. I am looking forward to trying the rest of the menu because the whole menu looks fantastic! The staff was super friendly, and the portions were generous. Who can complain about vegan Chinese food? I can not, as it is challenging to find and is one of my favorite cuisines. I will continue to support this local restaurant and recommend giving it a try!“

“This is one of our favorite places to take friends when they come to visit. We took our parents last night, and it was perfect. The patio is the best place (I think) to enjoy a meal and the buzz of La Mesa. We happened to come when they were doing an outdoor street concert. The energy was perfect!
Our favorite thing to order is the La Reina molcajete. It's cheesy deliciousness and we ended up eating our leftovers for days. We tried the La Jefa version last night. Still very good and plenty for two people. I love all the fun cocktails you can order, and the service is exactly what you'd expect for a CRG restaurant - friendly and attentive.

Luck was on our side because this turned out to be such a great meal! When my family and I came in we needed a table to seat 6 people and they quickly got a table together for us. I ordered the red curry with vegetables and this place truly lived up to its name! The ingredients tasted fresh and the curry was so delicious. Everyone enjoyed their meal. As we ate and talked we saw a lot of people come in to pick up take out orders, no one else came to dine in. There are a few tables though and I suggest dining in at least once a - we were able to meet the chef/owner and he was such a nice guy. Really seemed to care about each plate that came out. I can’t wait to visit my family again and enjoy some good food and conversation here!“

The food was absolutely amazing as well and they weren't upset when we misspoke and accidentally ordered the wrong thing, they corrected it and were patient. (I believe the owners?) we're an absolute delight. They cracked jokes with us, gave us recommendations, showed us a way to mix the sauces we hadn't already done. It was genuinely a great time and we will all be back.“
