From the outside it looks a bit deceiving. Dark area but relatively safe. had been coming here for years and it's always been one of my favorite local dive bars until I moved on temporary assignment for a few years. Now that I'm back its still the same chill vibe, decent crowd and good spot to shoot a little pool and meet a friend or 2 for drinks. Has a patio as well as great service and food when they. are serving.
I am a bit biased because I work for the Chico Club. I must say as time goes by I find myself more and more drawn into this place. It is a diverse crowd of neighborhood people out looking to have a drink and socialize. Not a real busy place which makes it easy to get a seat at the bar or a pool table to shoot pool with a friend or someone you just met. I went in the afternoon it was pleasant it was quiet not many people but was good atmosphere had pool tables and electric darts and tvs had whatever sports games you wanted to watch the bartender was nice and attentive.
