This place is by far hands down theee best Mexican taco shop in SD, in my opinion. The food is flavored, good sized amounts. The family that runs the shop is so nice and friendly. We live right around the corner and I was skeptical at first, down the street is a restaurant and it is NOT good, so I was nervous to try this one. I am very pleased and will recommend and do to this place to anyone!
Delicious Mexican food. It’s off the beaten path as they say but don’t be intimidated. Carnitas and beans were some of the best around. If you happen to be visiting Coronado this place is 10 minutes from the Island and 10x better than the Island Mexican food.

Quick service, good hospitality, and delicious food! Seating is entirely outside which is nice and comfy. Booths are mostly clean and perfect for a bite to eat with a friend or two. Parking is not huge but enough. Hot sauces are super tasty. Mini tacos are my favorite, and carne asada and adobada are my protein choices. Grilled chicken and shredded chicken are decent. Carnitas tacos are great too. Guacamole is great. Fresh finely diced onions and cilantro are the perfect garnish.
