Agave Grill & Café is a fantastic find in Chula Vista! The lounge area has the cutest, most relaxing atmosphere that makes it a perfect spot to get some writing done or catch up with a friend over brunch. The service is consistently top-notch and attentive. I highly recommend trying the flavorful chilaquiles or the avocado toast paired with a dirty chai latte. It's an unassuming gem from the outside, but absolutely worth a visit!“

“This place is one of those old time gems you want to find. Great people, good food, and just down to earth honest people. Owners are always present and always will to help. The staff is friendly. We enjoy eating here and the prices are reasonable.“

“Above average pool bar food, can order customizations if you order through a server who walks around the pool areas. Food is ordered through a kiosk inside the establishment or from your phone using a code attached to your pool chairs. Food comes out fairly fast, faster than other pool services I've experienced. Skip the tacos, fries/nachos kids items were great. Individually wrapped ice cream bars for kids. Open bar has plenty selection, and standard slushy drinks (Pine Colada, Strawberry daiquiri, marg).“

“We ate here today. First, in anticipation, we bought a gift card at Costco for $79 with a $100 value. If you're taking a larger party there or plan on going back a couple times, grab one of these for 20% off of whatever you're going to buy anyway.
They start your table off with a chopped chibata roll and herb oil dip.
We ordered a pizza Hawaiian style with cauliflower crust and a tasty dish called Dynamite shrimp. We ordered our son a child's menu cheese pizza and broccoli (I've added a kids menu).
It was 5:30pm on a Tuesday and traffic was pretty easy and our waiter was fairly knowledgeable.
The pizza was definitely far more tasty than that frozen disc CPK sells I've been buying in the store.
The Dynamite shrimp 🍤 was a pleasant surprise. It was a nice balance of the spicy shrimp with a blender Hawaiian pizza.
I haven't eaten at a CPK in years ( I don't feel that CPK initials had caught on the last time I ate in here), but I'm glad I dropped in.
Also, side note: the bathroom is well managed. Bye.“

“I ordered the steak omelet, and the breakfast was huge! Also the order came with three sides of pancakes, which I couldn't finished eating.

The shop was very busy for breakfast service, so this tells me they are doing something right. Overall, I'd come back and get breakfast from this shop again!

Even while he was training a new bartender—a task that requires patience, multitasking, and strong leadership—he never missed a beat when it came to taking care of us.

Victor was incredibly attentive, professional, and welcoming. It was clear he genuinely cared about both his team and his guests. Despite the added responsibility of training, he kept everything running smoothly and made sure everyone at the bar felt valued and taken care of.
