“If you are looking for a true Italian experience in San Diego, look no further than Vinarius! We worked with Giuseppe (owner) to host our wedding celebration here back in March, 2023. From the beginning, he was amazing to work with. Incredibly positive and accommodating from the start, we couldn’t have asked for more. The wedding ceremony was planned to be outside and of course, it rained that day. Guiseppe and his staff went above and beyond to accommodate us, allowed us to have the small ceremony inside the restaurant on short notice and made an incredible meal to follow. “Don’t pass on this hidden GEM. Great gourmet pizza for the advanced palate. Our favorites are the Sweet Southern, New Yorker, and Eggplant. We’ve tried all their veggie pizzas and honestly can’t pick a favorite. The staff is warm, inviting, and feels like family.“

“Ok, I am from NY and love pizza. I am not a NYC pizza snob though and welcome all iterations of 'za! I have to say that this pizza is probably the best I have ever had of its type. They are "Roman" slices, meaning focaccia crust. Variety of slice options are insane with creative combinations that are not only imaginative, but insanely delicious. Slices are cooked upon ordering for supreme freshness. I especially like the Lussuria - prosciutto, black pepper, mashed potato, mozzarella and olive oil. (I NEVER thought I would like mashed potato on a slice, but it's insanely good.) The help here is amazing as well. Caesar was working the oven and he gave great suggestions and explained the product well. Very inviting and definitely steered me in the right direction. Need gluten free? They got it! Will make a GF slice for you right on the spot. I challenge anyone to have just one slice. I had to go back for 2 more. Enjoy!“

“Cucumber Salad felt light for its price. I didnt like that it was cut long ways either personally. Facundo was a friendly server. The whole staff helped out with bussing the table. Would come again but will not be ordering the cucumber salad the pizza and calamari were great.“

“As a French visitor living close to the Italian border, I’m probably a little picky about pizza. I can honestly say these are very good pizzas!

What made the experience even better was the warm welcome. My spoken English is very bad but the person who took my order was very patient and friendly. We talked together and it made me feel really welcome. I really appreciated that.

“4 slices of delicious pizza and 2 craft beers for $18! That is unheard of! We got the first time discount but even without that the price was unheard of in 2026. And the pizza was superb. Crispy crust, delicious toppings and flavor combinations, we are never going to any other pizza place again! The only thing I could wish for is a little bit of a better in house dining atmosphere.“

The ranch is flavorful and rich, and the marinara was a fantastic richness at the beginning, middle, and end - the ideal consistent flavor experience for marinara (most spots focus on the up-front flavors of marinara but then it becomes watery…NOT at Little Sisters!).
