No mid-morning crash, no desperate snack attacks, just steady energy to crush meetings, workouts, and everything in between.
The combo of the juicy sausage patty, melty cheese, fluffy egg, and that signature Carl’s Jr. bun hits all the right notes — savory, hearty, and just the right amount of kick. It’s not some light “breakfast lite” option; this is a proper burger built for breakfast that actually fills you up like a lunch or dinner item. “Except for the long drive-through lines, it’s worth going. And I have to actually admit that the lines move pretty quickly.
I do think that they ought to put their napkins in a separate small bag, before dropping them in on top of the burgers. I can never use them by the time I get home because they’re covered with sauce and cheese!

“First visit, I had the Chimichurri Tri-Tip plate ($20.95).
The tri-tip was very good, nicely done. Good flavor and good serving size. Chimicurri sauce was also very good. The fries were served hot and crisp, mixed grilled veg serving was very small, focaccia bread (not shown) was fresh.
The counter service was slow, we were ignored for too long, with no acknowledgement.
We sat on outside patio area, staff was slow to clean tables (there were crows feeding off the leftover plates).“

“Fun coastal ride today, lunch stop at The Hamburger Hut was PERFECT, per the super cool Bartender named Cisco, they think of it as in and out with a full bar! I noticed they had Old Forester Whiskey, but was on the bike, so could not partake, but will be back! Awesome parking lot for bikes. Good inside and patio seating. Burgers are smashburger style, fries are shoestring, buns are Kings Hawaiian, and everything is delicious!!! Ridden by this place countless times and had never been, it will be a routine stop now. Prices are excellent! You order at the window outside, then sit inside with a buzzer, if you sit at the bar (no minors) it is full service. Nice ocean views today and traffic was super easy! 👍“

“The top sections on the menu are 100% plant based, and the second half has meat options. It sounds like they used to be fully vegan, so it’s disappointing they added meat to the menu. I enjoyed the Munchwrap and the smash burger was pretty good. Next time I hope to try the flatbread—they currently have one plant based flatbread on the menu.“

Steel and Cass are THE BEST. We specifically love coming in for San Diego Sundays because they make it such a fun time every single time. Such a great spot to come watch a game. The beer selection is insane too. Tons of cans and bottles to choose from, so many great IPAs, and always something new to try. And do not sleep on the food. “My first time here. It was good, not great. I got the single burger lounge combo and added bacon and avocado. The burger itself is really small so get the double even if you wouldn't normally or think it's too much. Since the burger is thin and small, the toppings are really overwhelming and it's really all I tasted. The service was excellent.“

“We come here periodically and the food is always great. We appreciate the healthy choices, especially for our kiddos too. Even the soft drinks are yummy. I especially love their sauces and the chimichurri that comes with the empanadas is to die for. Our kids were having a rough time on one of our recent visits - our toddler was crying - and Louie was so kind and understanding. He saved the day with a couple of cookies for the kids. There was also an odd alarm going off behind their building that made it a little unpleasant to sit outside, but he found the security guard and got the issue fixed right away, which felt above-and-beyond.
