I ordered the carne asada plate. It comes with rice, beans, corn tortillas, pico de gallo, and guacamole. I also ordered a carnitas taco with rice and beans. I also ordered 1 chicken street taco and some rolled crunchy chicken tacos. The food was fresh and good. You can get fountain drinks which includes horchata, Jamaica and tamarindo.
"Best Mexican place in Solana Beach" would be accurate but not adequate. One of the best places, period, between San Diego proper and North County? Now we're talking. You walk in and you hear staff and customers talking and joking in Spanish, see soccer on the TV, and you instantly feel the warm vibe of the place.
