Food was pretty solid. Enjoyed how handmade the potato options were for the hash browns and potatoes o brien. Tasted very much how your grandma would make things. Quite tasty. I will say I was a bit confused with the "biscuit" that I got as a side that was pretty much just unflavored cake and no where near a biscuit. Kind of like corn bread without the corn.All in all, very good and tasty. Will likely return.
Okay restaurant, average food, okay price, great customer service and homey environment. If the food was great I would've given it 5 stars. The french toast, eggs and bacon were good, but nothing special. The biscuit and gravy was bad, the gravy taste like raw cake batter. The staff happily took it back and gave me a BLT which was good. The porkchop was a bit dry and overcooked. Inside the restaurant is outdated but kind of homey in a sense. I saw a lot of older regulars here...read full review

What I like about the place is it's one of the last mom and pops. It's a breakfast joint with some dinner lunch items. It's open from 6:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. but check the hours. They used to be very low price and served huge portions, but I know that everybody's going through it. They had to shrink some of the portions a little but the prices are somewhat reasonable. I guess eating out is more of a luxury now than it was. Still I went back for nostalgic sake. The food is good.
