Upon walking inside there doesn’t appear that anyone is working until the worker came out and asked if that was all the donuts they had. DIONNA just nodded her head. We let her know we had a Groupon to use there for $20. My brother and I both ordered a boba each and decided to take the last raspberry mochi donut. Yes, it's overpriced. Absurd markup given the cost to produce. But they are airy yet have a lovely slightly chewy texture, they are less calories without compromising flavor, and the flavors are delicious without being too sweet and are things I actually want to taste (Thai iced tea, matcha, etc). Definitely a donut shop for adults who are looking for a specific product and willing to pay more for it. This place is fantastic! A new favorite in Poway. Great for a quick snack and something a little different. My go-to is the original mozzarella and a funnel cake mochinut - delish! Their boba drinks are great too. Service is always friendly.
