I was introduced to Belching Beaver's amazing Peanut Butter Milk Stout at a wedding several years ago, and couldn't stop thinking about them. I made sure I had them on my itinerary during my recent trip to San Diego because I needed to stock up for the holidays. I was debating if I wanted to visit their San Diego location or the Oceanside location, but I was glad that I came to their Oceanside venue. In San Diego Area for the week for a work meeting. Following the meeting i looked up local breweries, came across Belching Beaver & saw that i was only about 10 minutes away. Decided to make my way there. Excellent choice. The Phantom Bride IPA has always been one of my favorite beers of all times. I've always had to buy it canned so it was nice to be able to have it on draft. I was impressed with how good the Red Ale was as well. Open air bar/brewery. Very versatile with areas to sit close to the bar as well as areas outside to sit. They offer no food, but they have a food truck parked outside. There's lots of seltzer and beer options, and you can sit and watch the sports games. Great atmosphere and good service
