We stayed at the BW Premiere in Del Mar and gave the Cafe Del Mar on-site a try. What a hidden gem. It is a little store and Cafe, but the food is excellent and it sits adjacent to the patio at the hotel. Lots of local folks stopped by for coffee during their morning hike. Read the other reviews and this place has to be under new management because it was great! It is a little take away shop with a cool patio. The food was great, very fresh, and rivals what you get up the street for twice or three times the money. I noticed many locals stopping by for coffee on a cool August morning and it seemed like it was their routine. We split the breakfast burrito and a fruit plate. Both were incredible and fresh. I give five stars for our experience and food.

For such a small cafe it was surprising good. We had the French toast, breakfast burrito, chicken sausage sandwich and coconut coffee. They have 3 workers that were very kind and courteous. The fire place was nice and inviting. Overall it was a perfect small cafe at the best western.
