“First time here and not disappointed. Didn't have a long wait like others said. The doma was excellent. I got the combo to try their meats - beef kabob, chicken Tikka, and beef shawarma. All were seasoned well, especially the shawarma...very bold. But it's the cook on the meat that set them apart! All 3 were tender, juicy, and savory. Too many overcook these but they just melted in my mouth. Highly recommended.“

The cleaners they use are very strong. Very pinesol or something like that. Glad I got food to go because I wouldn’t want to have smelled the cleaners during dinner. Dining room had zero vibe.“

“We were wandering around the Gaslamp looking for a new restaurant to try. We luckily went into Mimosa. What a lovely dinning experience. We had the dinner for two. This gave us the chance to try most of their specialties .It was really impressive that each entree had its own unique flavor. The service was excellent and very friendly. The restaurant filled up quickly and so I guess we'll get a reservation next time.“

“The whole team at Boujiemana is worth writing about and thanking. For a relatively bigger venue, everyone is super friendly, accommodating, and provide top notch service. The food is exquisite in every way. We always enjoy the pita bread and hummus, of course, and the rest of our appetizers, small plates and entrees were excellent. “Stopped at Fattoush for a quick bite after a hike. We ordered Gyros which tasted nice 4/5 and filled me up. The portion size was good, the freshness of the ingredients was good but the meat was not as juicy as expected. The atmosphere of the restaurant was not my favorite but the staff was very kind, polite and friendly. They have a special between 11-3pm where Gyros are only $6 which was a nice surprise.“

“We have ordered Kebabs before here, we recently ordered a meal kit that was all rice and hardly any meat, I mean it was a joke, its a $30 meal. I messaged them because we have ordered several times before and thought maybe they would try to make it right but they never replied. This was 2 weeks ago. We will never buy food here again! The servings are very small and there are tons of other places to eat or order take out around here if they want to be jerks about it! The food is average really, we order out frequently so as not to have to cook and live in the area. We got about $1 worth of rice and lettuce for a $30 meal plate, what a joke!“

Bisbas serves up a mix of traditional and modern Halal Somali cuisine, and the portions are perfect for sharing. Our server made some suggestions and served our food fresh and promptly.

Hubby has declared the goat mandi the best goat dish he's ever tried. It's so tender and spiced just right. The chicken was incredible too - really so juicy. The Chapati KK was so unique- chopped up chapati in a chicken stew that's so flavorful and aromatic. The Bisteki Fries were loaded up with steak and perfectly sauced. Kiddo wasted no time devouring his tenders too. We all left satisfied, with leftovers too 😋“
