“I ordered the salmon plate. The hot sauce dressing (a vinaigrette) was delicious, as was the rest of the food! My only complaint is that the portions are too small for the price.

I moved to Escondido today from Carlsbad and wanted authentic Greek-style food, so I tried this location that popped up on maps. The chef is kind.“

“Friendly staff and great value. While the kabob is definitely not bad, it is not as good as some other places that charge more. For the price you are paying, it is good. The dolmeh was actually good. I would recommend this place but if you have had kabob at nicer places just set your expectations.“

“Food was excellent. I got the chicken kebob plate and the chicken was so moist and flavorful. It came with grilled onion, bell pepper and tomato, grilled well and tasty. The salad was fresh and toppings were delicious. Although I didn’t eat it, the plate came with a good amount of rice. I was able to take a box with the rice and half the chicken home for my son. My husband and friend got the pesto panini and parm panini and both said they were both wonderful. Our other fiend had the pesto pasta with chicken and she loved her dish as well. We got the falafel, hummus and tzatziki appetizer with pita and all commented on how flavorful the hummus and tzatziki were. The falafel were very small, but tasty and fried well with a nice crunch on the outside and moist inside. The pita was warm and grilled and a great texture. The service was great. Food came out fast and she was attentive to refills on drinks and if we needed anything. We are looking forward to going back.“

“Chicken Plus will always have a special place in my heart. I still remember when my dad used to take me here back in elementary school — it was our go-to spot for a delicious meal and some quality time together. Every visit was a treat, and even now, all these years later, I keep coming back.

The food is just as incredible as I remember — always fresh, flavorful, and made with so much care. But what really sets Chicken Plus apart is the heart behind it. Syd, the owner, is truly one of a kind. Every time I walk through the doors, I look forward to seeing him. He greets everyone like family and makes you feel genuinely welcome. It’s rare to find a place where the food and the people are equally amazing, but Chicken Plus nails it every time.

“My company catered Pita's for a staff meeting and everyone loved how delicious and fresh everything was!! Tonight I had to go back to introduce my husband and best friend, we were not disappointed! The lamb sandwich was delicious and filling, falafel was soft and flavorful inside, perfectly crunchy on the outside, hummus is super creamy and wonderful and the salads were crisp and tasty!! The restaurant is very clean and the staff was friendly and helpful with menu questions. We're all full and excited to go back to try more of their menu.“

“Food was great. It could be a bit bland for people who is very used to stronger flavor. But to me it was great. Very small area to sit down to eat though. We were a bit surprised that they did not provide water, but George (I think he is the owner of the place) was super nice and offer to just give us a few bottles of water (on the house). He mentioned that they used to just doing catering, so I guess we shouldn't expect a full restaurant experience (water, or heated patio) from them. But in general I enjoyed my food, and nice service so I still give 5 star.“
