“I had the lamb tikka with jasmine rice and salad. The lamb was seasoned very well, but a few pieces were extremely tough. The rice was soft and fluffy. Most of the salad items were pickled vegetables or grilled, not bad, but not what I was expecting. The Naan was plain, and they wouldn't let me add anything on it (they could have kept it)“
“My new favorite restaurant!Best fish and chips I have ever had! Didn’t need any kind of condiment. The staff was super friendly and accommodating. We called ahead and they helped me find a meal that would accommodate my allergy. Very casual and welcoming place. I’m 30 minutes away, but looking forward to going back.Dietary restrictions: I have a severe onion allergy. They were able to accommodate me with the fish and chips. It was delicious.“
“This place is a tiny spot that is a great to go spot. Seating inside is very limited. I have been here twice and both times it was excellent. The Greek salad with a kebab was delicious. He gave me a dressing as well as taziki which was so good. The feta cubes are so soft and creamy. Since it comes with some flatbread on top (not sure if it's called something specific). I made my own wrap with it and it hit the spot! There's only ever been one guy working who I assume is the owner but not sure. He makes your order himself and it comes out great each time. It's worth the wait for it to be made with care. I want to try all their things so I'll be back!“
“I went in during a dinner rush during the week apparently. Marisela and Paul were pushing out the orders in a timely manner and they were very attentive to everyone waiting plus those dinning in. The food was amazing, always is! I love this “
“Maansi - who took my order and checked me out made my day with both professionalism and big Luna grill smile. Thanks Luna always great healthy food and great people.Parking: Plenty of room and the 15 minute parking is easy for take outKid-friendliness: Always kid friendly and easy to pick up mf or bring family in“
“We were thrilled to find out the Greek Palace has opened at a new location! Our family has been going to the Clairemont location for many years. George was very welcoming and a fabulous cook! We enjoyed a delicious dinner there last night of chicken Greek salad and gyros plates. Can't wait to return and enjoy their new patio. Great for pick-up too.“
“We started with some mocktails, one of each offered that night, which were fresh and bright. I had the steak and it came with this delicious butter what was to die for. We also split a salad which was tasty and had the creme brûlée for dessert. I’d recommend the salad and the steak but not the creme brûlée. I always like to try crème brûlée when I’m eating out at restaurants and it’s on the menu. Unfortunately, this is probably one of the worst crème brûlée I’ve ever had. It was an odd color (kinda brown, and not a pretty, creamy light yellow color that it should be) and it was a very weird consistency. Also the sugar crust didn’t crack like it should, I think it was too thin. A little on the expensive side but all in all, a very nice tiny experience.“
“I've been here a few times now and every time, I swear, it blows away my expectations ❗The plates are clean and the flavors substantial. The last time I ate there I had the chicken kebab....damn that was a great plate! I've also had the lamb plate and again the food was superb. I highly recommend Taverna Mediterranean.“
“Best falafel in North San Diego County. Also the hummus, salads, and spanakoita are excellent. SO much better than Luna Grill and Nectarine Grove's falafel, which both tasted like boxed mashed potatoes with no butter or salt. This is where you find good falafel.“
“This place gets my view for BEST food in the food court. I had a crave-worthy gyro sandwich. The veggie toppings are super fresh and flavorful; the meat is perfectly cooked, not dry; the tzatziki is balanced and delicious; and the pita is soft and tasty. I'm a big fan of Greek food and this may be the best gyro sandwich I've ever had. You should eat here, you really should.“
