“Chicken Plus will always have a special place in my heart. I still remember when my dad used to take me here back in elementary school — it was our go-to spot for a delicious meal and some quality time together. Every visit was a treat, and even now, all these years later, I keep coming back.

The food is just as incredible as I remember — always fresh, flavorful, and made with so much care. But what really sets Chicken Plus apart is the heart behind it. Syd, the owner, is truly one of a kind. Every time I walk through the doors, I look forward to seeing him. He greets everyone like family and makes you feel genuinely welcome. It’s rare to find a place where the food and the people are equally amazing, but Chicken Plus nails it every time.

“Friendly staff and great value. While the kabob is definitely not bad, it is not as good as some other places that charge more. For the price you are paying, it is good. The dolmeh was actually good. I would recommend this place but if you have had kabob at nicer places just set your expectations.“

“These guys are amazing they cook with love and the taste of their food shows! They are cost-effective healthy local option for delicious food in the Poway area. Our son wrestles at Poway and this is where we fuel him everyday! The portions are huge! The staff is always courteous and friendly. Location is tucked in a corner of a business center and perfect for families needing a calmer setting. Food is excellent had the pepper chicken not dry at all and lots of flavor. “One of the best burger I’ve ever had. Deep fried zucchini is to die for. Onion rings were real onions. There were 6 of us, we shared each other sides. They have really big portions, we took leftovers home. Only problem I have is I live in NV so can only go when I visit my daughter, or we take a beach weekend.“

“My company catered Pita's for a staff meeting and everyone loved how delicious and fresh everything was!! Tonight I had to go back to introduce my husband and best friend, we were not disappointed! The lamb sandwich was delicious and filling, falafel was soft and flavorful inside, perfectly crunchy on the outside, hummus is super creamy and wonderful and the salads were crisp and tasty!! The restaurant is very clean and the staff was friendly and helpful with menu questions. We're all full and excited to go back to try more of their menu.“
