We were all so impressed with the service, the quality of the food, the atmosphere, and just how they made you feel at home and took great care of you the whole night. “We had an amazing experience here while visiting SD. I saw this recommended on Reddit, and it did not disappoint. It is located in a beautiful neighborhood and the huge windows let in lots of natural light and views of the neighborhood. They have daily lunch and dinner specials, and the portions are huge and prices are very cheap. The quality of the food was great. My favorite part was the small business vibe, with the shop being ran by the owner Jorge and his staff. There is an article hanging on the wall that speaks of Jorge’s friendship with a community member and frequent guest of the restaurant, and how nice of a person he is. We will be back!“

“Where do I begin? From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with amazing customer service. The conversation while ordering felt so genuine and welcoming, and we even got to learn a little about the history of the restaurant and the story behind the business. It made the experience feel personal right from the start.

When the food came out, we were shocked by the portion sizes. Everything was incredibly fresh and flavorful. The meat was cooked to perfection, tender and packed with flavor. The pita and hummus were delicious, and every bite tasted fresh and homemade. For dessert, we tried the baklava and rice pudding—both were outstanding. The baklava was rich, sweet, and perfectly balanced, while the rice pudding was creamy, smooth, and absolutely delicious.

What really stood out was how welcomed and comfortable we felt. Between the amazing food, warm atmosphere, and exceptional service, this place truly felt like home.

We actually discovered this restaurant through a Groupon, and I’m so glad we did because it has quickly become our new favorite spot. I will definitely be bringing my friends and family here and recommending it to anyone I get the chance to. If you’re looking for authentic food, generous portions, and a place that genuinely cares about its customers, this is it!“

“I am surprised that this place doesn't have more reviews. My wife got the chicken plate and I got the gyro plate and both of them were great. My daughter and I went to pick up the food and while we waited, we split a baklava and that was also top-notch. The two staff members that we spoke to were very nice. We will be back again, for sure.“

“Happened to be leaving a game and I turned around and seen this place perfectly located next to Petco Park. When I went inside I was greeted warmly and I asked what the difference was between the regular gyro and the pork belly one. The guy said if I ordered the pork belly the way he makes extra crispy I would love it. Ever since I’ve been back about 3 more times plus I found them near my work in Mira Mesa so that’s four…I’m hooked 🥙“

“Have always enjoyed a short walk to Elsa Kitchen to pick up their very delicious Burger and Fries and Soda Pop combination. Since I moved to this neighborhood just over 4 Years ago (March 2019) have enjoyed bringing my best buddy "Rocker Spaniel" here on our walks. He Loved the Greek Scenery:) and claro que si the food two. Let us not forget the BLACK and White illuminati Checkerboard tiles. Rocker left us at Age 12 Dog Years on February 18th but putting his photo on my Smart Phone screen saver refreshed my Love ❤️ for this place. “Food was good. However, the cashiers were busy cleaning up for the night vs taking care of customers. It wasn’t late, either. It was around 7:30 or 7:45 on a Sunday. The cleaners they use are very strong. Very pinesol or something like that. Glad I got food to go because I wouldn’t want to have smelled the cleaners during dinner. Dining room had zero vibe.“
