“Have eaten at all of the Persian restaurants all over San Diego. The food was fantastic. Came here after my wife’s family suggested that we stop by. Will certainly be back. In fact, help run the San Diego Backgammon Club. We’re hoping to have an event here very soon. Ll. The service was excellent! Highly recommend.“

“Very delicious authentic Persian food. From there fesenjoon to the lamb soltani. Very delicious and tastes like homemade.
Mr Mansour the owner, is a great man, very welcoming, and comes and check on tables himself and great them.
The servers are very pleasant too.
On top of that they serve hookah too. Couldn’t get any better. It’s definitely my spot now.“

“Everything we had for dinner was delicious. The hummus was creamy. The baba ganush was out of this world. The combo grilled chicken, shrimp was enough for 2 people. The service was exceptional. I highly recommend Sadaf.“

“I can say Kabobs were OK. We ordered beef koobideh and joojeh kabob and Ash. I give an score at most 4/5 to kabobs but Ash was great and I would say it’s 5/5. It was our first time going for a food truck only because of the high score. I know it’s hard to make a high quality kabob in a truck, but honestly it wasn’t 5. Seeing the score of 5 in google and comments of people saying “the best kabob in San Diego” motivated us to drive all the way to there for lunch. To be fair, Ash is a must try, and Kabob was OK. Finally, Mr Ali is a very welcoming and nice person 😊.“

The Darbaand special ( I think) -
It had beef kabob, ground sirloin kabob, chicken kabob, and came with rice and grilled veggies. The platter can be easily shared among 2/3 people.9/10
Hummus - 7/10, it comes with bread. They should give more bread.
Overall, the food was fresh, delicious, and flavorful. Do visit if you can.
The bathrooms were clean, but i wish they had kept a bidet as they are a halal restaurant.

Parking: There is a paid parking lot just 2 mins (walking) from where the restaurant is.“

“Exceptional Experience for our new borns celebration of 80 guests by Javid and his employees. Javid is one of the kindest, most welcoming, and extremely professsional owner I have ever got a pleasure to work with. Our sons event that took place in early November was a success. starting from the arragnements of the place, to delicious appetizers, leading to the main course, to all the way desserts and fruits. Javid and his team did an exceptionally well job in making our event a memorable one. Both servers that were assigned to us were the most amazing DUO you could have ever asked for. Knowing how much tea our people drink and how demanding our guests can be. EVERYTHING was taken care of very well without even asking all tasks were performed simultaneously. Javid thank you so much for all your hospitality and to SUFI's amazing team work. I am not doing any of our future events anywhere else but here at SUFI MEDITERRANEAN CUSINE. THIS PLACE IS AWESOME.“

“Great Persian cuisine at a gourmet level of quality. It is situated in an unconvincing strip mall but I was pleasantly surprised with the experience I received. We had the Soltani and Chicken kebabs and the flavor was phenomenal.

“Their Persian Pizza was good, and it is relatively large! We ordered 2 for 4 people and we took almost a whole pizza home! I wish their crust was thinner as it was a little under cooked. Their appetizers are good as well. But the downside is their hours and I hope they extend it. Nice and friendly staff and good service. Overall, I would recommend this place, specially for Persian pizza.“
