“My group went to lunch at Orchid Persian Cuisine and had a great meal. For starters, the tahdig, dolmeh, and shirazi salad were excellent choices. As a main I ordered the beef koobideh which was delicious and came with generous portions. Service was prompt and the decor of the restaurant was elegant. I will be happily returning!“

We don't live in San Diego but last time we were in town we stumbled upon their previous location and saught it out again. This time we were disappointed to see it was closed BUT found that Darband was still nearby at a bigger location.“

“We got a kebab and okra plate.
Companion enjoyed the chicken kebab though I had gotten a drier piece of chicken.
The okra was a little more sour than I would have liked. They make the bottom of the rice crispy but it ends up my chewy.

Interesting vibe and would go back to check out belly dancing on a Saturday night.

The plaza that houses this restaurant is tucked inside - so the restaurant isn’t visible from the street. Once you see the sign it’s actually two turns into the plaza. Perhaps not many people have discovered as we were the only people there on a Friday night around 8.“

“this is my place... I've never had a bad experience. Clean establishment... fresh...and made to order Mediterranean cuisine. I recommend the chicken schwarma...the fries are a must... and the strawberry apple walnut Salad is my favorite also. way to go Tak Grill.“

Javid is one of the kindest, most welcoming, and extremely professsional owner I have ever got a pleasure to work with. Our sons event that took place in early November was a success. starting from the arragnements of the place, to delicious appetizers, leading to the main course, to all the way desserts and fruits. Javid and his team did an exceptionally well job in making our event a memorable one. Both servers that were assigned to us were the most amazing DUO you could have ever asked for. Knowing how much tea our people drink and how demanding our guests can be. EVERYTHING was taken care of very well without even asking all tasks were performed simultaneously.
