“I have been wanting to go here for years and finally had a chance to go with my wife for a Friday lunch. Parking can be a little tough, but there is free street parking and pay lots nearby. The restaurant atmosphere is super cool inside and the wait staff was incredibly friendly. The food was delicious. We got an appetizer platter and loved it. We ate the entire appetizer platter, including extra Pita bread, and almost ruined our appetites before our entrées arrived. The main meals were delicious. I also got the vegetarian platter with 4 different items and different rices.I will definitely go again (next time not on a Friday during Lent so that I can try some of the entrées with meat options). I will also recommend to friends and others.Vegetarian options: Wide variety of vegetarian options with excellent flavor profiles and large, hearty portions.“
“Really delicious and fresh food! The chicken kabob was cooked to perfection, tender with the right amount of flavor. The salad was fresh and simple and great dressing, seemingly made fresh, as was the hummus. The chicken shawarma wrap was delicious, my partner who was not previously a Mediterranean fan now sees the appeal (win!)We live in town so will definitely be coming here again for our Greek fix.“
“Was a toss between 3 and 4 stars but ended up giving 4. Ordered the soltani, chicken kabob, and cucumber yogurt dip. First I thought it was kind of weird for them to give garlic Nan instead of Persian bread but the Nan was tasty. The chicken kabob was very good and tender so I would definitely recommend. The soltani was a different story. The koobahdi was standard and good but the filet was not filet. It literally tasted like carne asada which I have never experienced at a Persian restaurant before. Price point was on the level for the quality of the food.“

Nice ambiance indoors and fresh air outside. 4. Well maintained and clean 5. The owner, Pedram, has a warm and professional demeanor. “We love Del Mar and this is our go to restaurant. You don't need reservations and they have a nice outdoor atmosphere. The service is very friendly. The food is good and well priced. I consider this restaurant a great alternative to the expensive Californian restaurants as well as the less expensive pizza and Mexican places in town. I also have taken business lunch meetings here as the lunch menu is very reasonable. Lots of parking around if you head down 11 or 12 Ave toward the water.“
“The staff is awesome and they make you feel like family. They go above and beyond to make you comfortable. The food and pastries were so good. The portions were huge. I will definitely tell my friends and family to stop and eat at naseems bakery and kabob. Naseem and family keep up the good work. You guys are GREAT. “Grilled shrimp bowl with herb rice was excellent. Fresh ingredients and robust flavors. Portions were normal sized and I got enough to make me happy and full. There is some seating inside (4 tables), but also a nice courtyard outside for additional seating. Friendly and courteous service.“

Javid is one of the kindest, most welcoming, and extremely professsional owner I have ever got a pleasure to work with. Our sons event that took place in early November was a success. starting from the arragnements of the place, to delicious appetizers, leading to the main course, to all the way desserts and fruits. Javid and his team did an exceptionally well job in making our event a memorable one. Both servers that were assigned to us were the most amazing DUO you could have ever asked for. Knowing how much tea our people drink and how demanding our guests can be. EVERYTHING was taken care of very well without even asking all tasks were performed simultaneously. “Absolutely, the most delicious Persian food in all of San Diego may be in all of California, and maybe in all of United States. Had the beef Barg last night it was spectacular. Very delicious. I love this restaurant and I love the owners. I highly recommend it. If you haven’t tried Persian food to try this Restaurant you will fall in love with it. You will definitely get what you pay for at this restaurant. The world famous chicken is to die for super super delicious.“
“This place is near and dear to my heart. I first went here as a 20 year old UCSD student in the late 90s and continued to eat here regularly until leaving San Diego 3 years ago. Whenever I'm back in San Diego it will be one of the first places I visit.It simply is the best kebabs I've had in my life. I say this as someone who lived in NYC and has traveled around the world a fair bit. Sure, you have to put in an order early during the lunch rush, but there is a reason for it.“
