Based on the reviews, Khyber Pass Zarparan Restaurant is one of the best Afghan restaurants in California. The food is fresh, tasty, and very filling. Each dish is amazing. The mantu is like lasagna but better, with tangy yoghurt, flavorful beef, soft wonton wrappers, and crunchy lentils. The afghan chicken curry is so good with tender chicken and well-seasoned sauce. The beef kabobs are to die for, perfectly seasoned and charred. The Afghan plov is truly unique and delicious. The Apricot chicken plate and Royal combo with flavored rice are favorites. The rose water lemonade is something not found anywhere else. The desserts are delicious. The staff is friendly, very nice, welcoming, and knowledgeable about the food. Service is great and fast. The atmosphere is great, with lots of nice art on the walls. The price is decent. There is a variety of food for all age groups.
