“I loved my falafel wrap from here. I have been looking for a falafel with a soft core and a not too oily fried exterior, and this was exactly it. Partner got the lamb shank and I was eating the rice that came with it on its own.Ample parking .“

“This is a new Afghan restaurant in the Claremont Mesa area. They are both a grocery store and a restaurant put together as one. They have a wide variety of Afghan dishes. So far I have tried the Mantu - Afghan dumplings with meat sauce , garlic , green onions and yoghurt. I also tried the chicken kabob - very good boneless pieces of chicken bbq with rice mixed with raisins, carrots , nuts and spices. So far this is a great restaurant and I will definitely come back.“

“5/5 stars all the way. We ordered the "Kabob Platter #1" and were pleasantly surprised with the taste and value of the meal! The meat was tender, flavorful, and wasn't too fatty or salty. There was about 2.5-3 pounds of meat! For $50, there aren't too many places in San Diego that you can get such a large (and mostly lean) portion of protein. It also included about 2 - 3 cups of basmati rice, a small portion of salad, mint chutney, some variation of spicy mayo, and two large breads. We would've preferred a more traditional naan, but we were too happy with everything else to be too bothered by it. The location was great. Ample parking. Outdoor seating. Nice decoration inside the shop. Clean. The service was great. It wasn't too prompt, but I think there was only one gentleman working the front, so we didn't mind. He was kind and friendly. However, the food came out pretty darn quick. We totally recommend this Pakistani restaurant to anyone!! Especially if you're looking for a healthier, higher-protein, high-value meal!!!“

“I have been wanting to go here for years and finally had a chance to go with my wife for a Friday lunch. Parking can be a little tough, but there is free street parking and pay lots nearby. The restaurant atmosphere is super cool inside and the wait staff was incredibly friendly. The food was delicious. We got an appetizer platter and loved it. We ate the entire appetizer platter, including extra Pita bread, and almost ruined our appetites before our entrées arrived. The main meals were delicious. I also got the vegetarian platter with 4 different items and different rices.I will definitely go again (next time not on a Friday during Lent so that I can try some of the entrées with meat options). I will also recommend to friends and others.Vegetarian options: Wide variety of vegetarian options with excellent flavor profiles and large, hearty portions.“
