“If you are walking around Prospect Street, I highly recommend Zoya! My husband and I stumbled across this restaurant while trying to satisfy two different cravings, and it did not disappoint.

I ordered a pizza, and coming from a family that owned a pizza shop, I can tell you that their fresh dough and sauce are top-tier. My husband ordered the chicken shawarma with truffle fries, and it is hands-down one of the best shawarmas in San Diego. They include pomegranate seeds in it—if you know, you know!

We also had an amazing appetizer that is an absolute must-try. The server Yousif was fantastic; the owner and staff made sure to check on our table throughout the meal.

They even treated us to a complimentary dessert made by a local French baker! We truly enjoyed this restaurant and will definitely be back.“

“CAVA has become one of my family’s favorite places to eat. Every time we’re nearby, my kids ask if we can stop here—and I completely understand why.

What I really like is the incredible variety. You can build your own meal exactly the way you want it. There are plenty of protein options, different kinds of rice, fresh vegetables, healthy toppings, sauces, and so many natural ingredients to choose from. Whether you’re looking for a high-protein meal, something vegetarian, or just a fresh, healthy lunch, there’s something for everyone.

They also have a great selection of drinks, and everything is served quickly without sacrificing quality. It’s one of the best places if you want a fast meal that still feels fresh and nutritious.

“Definitely an interesting place to eat. Everyone really nice. Food was reasonably priced, but not very generous portions , service was slow but it was Yeshiva week!
I also would have appreciated if owner would have updated their website or Google maps to reflect that They would be closed on Martin Luther king day.“

“I cannot stress enough how delicious everything was. I got the combo plate and ate until I was full and still had enough left over to take home for lunch the next day! “We were walking around La Jolla when my kids spotted Spiro’s Mediterranean Cuisine and wanted to try it out, and I’m really glad we did! First of all, everyone here was extremely friendly and welcoming. The food was also really good — very flavorful and very fresh.

I tried the Steak Tacos, my daughter got the Fish and Chips, and my son got the Chicken Tenders and Fries. Everything came out delicious, and the portions were great too. It ended up being one of the highlights of our day in La Jolla. We’ll definitely be back!“

“Amazing food with lot of healthy options“

“They put us in a windowless back room for Valentine's Day. Every couple in there looked super disappointed when they realized we were in a closed room (converted storage closet) next to the bathrooms. Also, I needed a steak knife to eat my chicken. The other items we ordered were drowning in chunks of raw garlic or syrupy sauce. Overall it was poor dining experience.“

“Great ambience. Great service. Great food. Came with a free bday treat. The only gripe is that I asked if they can replace the smoked salmon with chicken because, but they couldn't accommodate. So I ended up paying the smoked salmon price sandwich without the salmon and on top of that a $9 skewer so i can add protein to my sandwich. Wish they could have discounted the price somehow. I know better. But overall experience was great, and would go again.“

“One of my favorite spots in SD. It is a family owned and operated spot filled with great food and charisma. The owners and staff and incredibly friendly, and the food is made with lots of love. My personal favorites are the breakfast burrito with gyro and the gyro burger. Would recommend!“

“I attended the Holiday tea on 12/19 and it was one of the best Teas I have attended!
Ashley and Aaron waited on myself and my mother in law and they were fantastic!

I have a nut allergy and had mentioned it when I made the reservation months ago and they took me by surprise when they brought out a fully separate plate with all the items that they knew there fully nut free and did not mix with any of the pastries that had nuts in them.
It was such a nice touch and made the tea less stressful!

We plan to return to the Spring Tea as well!

The only “issue” was that as we enjoyed the table and food so much that we sipped our tea slowly and the tea did get cold after 1.5 hours since there was not anything to keep it warm.“

“I enjoy my morning coffee and breakfast so much. The desserts in the coffee shop are so delicious. In the evening I like the cocktails. I love the fig and prosciutto flatbread, the salads, kung pao calamari, and the chicken. I haven’t tried all of the new chef’s new menu items, but I will.“
