“I ordered a chicken kebab plate with Greek salad and grilled vegetables. It was very good. A huge amount of food! The young lady who took my order was very nice and answered my questions, as I had never been there before. The young man who was doing the cooking was very friendly when I went to pick up my food. This location is in the Liberty Public Market, so it was a little different than going to a restaurant. It was Sunday evening and busy; it was hard for me to find a seat, but I eventually did. I enjoyed sitting there watching all the activity going on. If that type of location is not to your liking, I suggest placing a take away order.“
“Excellent food quality, portion, and flavors. Ordered the chef special and was pleased how fresh and pleasant the seasoning, sauce, ingredients were used. The owners were friendly and helpful with explaining some aspects of the food. The casual setting with picnic tables outside felt accordingly to the environment. Sadly I was too eager to enjoy the food to take a photo for presentation.“
“Kebab Shop is my go to when I'm in the gaslamp. 5 stars in all categories.I was a little disappointed they discontinued the meatballs but I had the Kafta and it's actually better.Doesnt matter if you like a wrap or a plate both are exceptional.The manager is a cool dude as well. Always very pleasant and on top of his game.Fair warning, it takes like 10 or 15 minutes for the steak so be patient when you go there and order a freshly cooked skewer of meat.“
“Get the Marinated Beef Short Rib ! TRUST ME ! Came here when we were going through convoy looking for something to eat. I remembered my buddy recommended this place and thought I should give it a try. Came in and was greeted with hospitality which was always a plus because I felt welcomed. Our server Nate was recommending us items on the menu. All in all we tried the Beef marinated short rib, beef bulgolgi, spicy chicken, beef fingers, short rib steak, shrimp and a ribeye steak. Also we had cheese corn as an appetizers and it was fabulous. The prices here were more reasonable than other Korean BBq spots which is always a plus. Definitely coming back and getting double the beef marinated short rib ?“

“Great place for a quick bite or sit down and have a conversation around good food. Lamb kobideh was great. You order at the counter and they bring the food to your table. The service was quick and the portions were also good. It was fresh. They also have a spicy sauce on the side, which was great. Would definitely recommend it for lunch.“
“The Kebab Shop is great!I especially like coming here because it’s much easier for my family to eat here than most other places. We have a type 1 diabetic and I currently have gestational diabetes, so we have to watch what we eat. It’s easy to mix and match different proteins and healthy carbs, or have more veggies than you can typically get at a fast casual place. I don’t have to worry about us not having enough options and we’re always satisfied after a meal here.The kale and quinoa salad is my fav alongside the saffron chicken. The chickpea salad is a great side too.I like this location because it’s very central to everything we do and there’s usually a table available, though the setup can be awkward. It doesn’t matter much though because the food is excellent.Also, the staff is super friendly! I really appreciate their kindness!Dietary restrictions: Great for low- to moderate-carb diets. Very easy for a type 1 or type 2 diabetic, or someone with gestational diabetes, to find a suitable meal without compromising quality or taste.Kid-friendliness: Kids love the pita bread, chicken, beef, and fries!“

“Absolutely love this place! I have been here 5 times now and it is very convenient if you are a UCSD student. I have tried almost every meat they offer and have only had their wraps thus far. I would note that the wraps and the boxes are the same prices but it seems like the wraps are a lot more food and excessively filling. I personally recommend the grilled steak and grilled chicken which holds a lot more flavor than the carved meats. You do have to pay a premium.The staff have always offered exceptional service and the overall vibe is very jovial within the premises. The sauces are self serve and mandatory to accompany the food. The garlic yogurt is heavenly!They offer a rewards program and have multiple locations as well. Ordering is quick, food gets to you quick and the restaurant has always been clean. I haven't confirmed this but it is likely they also offer a student discount (especially for UCSD students). Love the location as it is within a shopping center and next to a mall as well. Easily one of my top spots that I have ate at in San Diego ever since coming down here for university.“
