“everything on the menu and friendly“

“Fantastic food and large portion sizes won me over. You leave your seat hurting from being so full trying to finish your plate! Great service and they actually smile at you when you order. We'll be going back for sure.“

“ZGARA is a sweet, locally owned Greek restaurant that I have been coming here for a while now. They have very affordable and delicious food that won't break the bank. If you like a great place with dope staff and good people, this is the place to be. They also have lunch specials which is a definite plus. 10/10“

“Best chicken Kabobs, the beef Kabobs were good too, the salad is one of favorites!!“

“We had a birthday party for a party of seven last night. Our first time there. We were all so impressed with the service, the quality of the food, the atmosphere, and just how they made you feel at home and took great care of you the whole night. I will definitely be back and taking more friends!“

“I had a great experience at this Mediterranean restaurant. Their lunch special is an excellent value, offering generous portions at a very reasonable price. More importantly, the quality of the food was outstanding—everything was fresh, flavorful, and prepared with care. It’s clear they take pride in both the ingredients and the service they provide. I highly recommend this spot to anyone looking for a delicious, satisfying meal at a great price. I’ll definitely be coming back!“

“I have been going here to eat for quite some time now. I generally order to-go because of a short lunch break. The food is very well prepared and very tasty. It's served at the right temperature! Generous portions also. Keep up the good work sir! Thank you!“

“Good food with good service“

“Love there food ❤️My favorite is gyro sandwich! Good service. Very nice owners.“

“Have always enjoyed a short walk to Elsa Kitchen to pick up their very delicious Burger and Fries and Soda Pop combination. Since I moved to this neighborhood just over 4 Years ago (March 2019) have enjoyed bringing my best buddy "Rocker Spaniel" here on our walks. He Loved the Greek Scenery:) and claro que si the food two. Let us not forget the BLACK and White illuminati Checkerboard tiles. Rocker left us at Age 12 Dog Years on February 18th but putting his photo on my Smart Phone screen saver refreshed my Love ❤️ for this place. Going to come back tomorrow for A Greek Gyros lunch 5/3 and hopefully Esperanza dovetail with a return Cinco de Mayo Run for The Roses 🌹🐴🐎 Thanks and FB We recommend a ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Return to Elsas 'Soul' Kitchen. More 🥙 ⌚ 💕 Please por favor 🙏 Gracias 🙏 CMRACEK1 Nite“

“great burgers friendly staff great prices too.“

“Very authentic! Very family friendly“

“I love this place so much. Super delicious and affordable. Personal favorites are the cream chop and the baklava! Highly recommend.“

“Enjoyable evening. Great food, entertainment, service & hospitality!“

“Food was good. However, the cashiers were busy cleaning up for the night vs taking care of customers. It wasn’t late, either. It was around 7:30 or 7:45 on a Sunday. The cleaners they use are very strong. Very pinesol or something like that. Glad I got food to go because I wouldn’t want to have smelled the cleaners during dinner. Dining room had zero vibe.“

“Fantastic food for the value. One of the best spots in the downtown San Diego area. Definitely check this place out if you like gyros. Probably the tastiest food at an affordable price you're going to find within 5 miles of Petco Park or the convention center ✌“

“I always love this location but our recent trip was one of the best experiences yet after coming here for over a decade. The flat cut chicken was sliced, cooked, and plated to perfection and the rest of the meal was as fresh and delicious as always.

Mike gave us excellent customer service and we look forward to our next visit.“

“Hey I just want to say the Luna grill down in Carmel valley was amazing and I want to give a special thank you to Athena for helping me out with my order she was polite and made sure i got everything I needed I recommend anyone that loves Mediterranean food check out this location 2 thumbs up will be back“

“This was our third time coming to Lemon Grove Cafe and will definitely be back for the fourth and etc. Portions are huge! Got a table within minutes. Received drinks right away, then our food order came out and it was delicious. I ordered carne asada green chilaquiles and my husband ordered the carne asada plate with a side of pancakes. Our waitress Alison was friendly and very attentive. The other servers Miriam and Max were also friendly and offering drink refills. 100% recommend this yummy and family friendly cafe!“

“one of my favorite place. the food is so incredible. it's a must if your in Hillcrest. I've never been disappointed.“

“Great food! One of the best Philly Steaks in San Diego!“

“So, I am updating my review. I still love Spiros, both locations, but this particular location has amazing views. However, the service here is not great, mostly 1 person, but they are always there, always taking the orders, which makes him hard to avoid. I believe his name is Steve. I literally dread placing my order when he's there. He is a very stressful person and therefore makes the ordering experience stressful. I go anyway with my family, this place isn't cheap for a casual place but the food is great. Well, recently I had an interaction with this guy that really upset me and my fam, he was very rude in front of customers and tried to make us feel bad. It was busier than normal because it was holiday time and events were happening. I will be contacting management personally but just beware of this guy when you go. Seriously disappointed.“

“Delicious food and super friendly service! Love this place“

“Absolutely wonderful experience. Kind, polite. Nice to talk to and I absolutely appreciate that. But this pizza pie is on point. It's delicious. It's clean. It's light you eat a whole pot every few weeks and do it a dough cleanse and it takes everything out of your body. It's wonderful. Nothing else can do that.“

“Delicious, fresh and very authentic Greek! Highly recommend to go check it out!“

“Amazing food! Thank you 😊“
