“We had an amazing experience here while visiting SD. I saw this recommended on Reddit, and it did not disappoint. It is located in a beautiful neighborhood and the huge windows let in lots of natural light and views of the neighborhood. They have daily lunch and dinner specials, and the portions are huge and prices are very cheap. The quality of the food was great. My favorite part was the small business vibe, with the shop being ran by the owner Jorge and his staff. There is an article hanging on the wall that speaks of Jorge’s friendship with a community member and frequent guest of the restaurant, and how nice of a person he is. We will be back!“

“ZGARA is a sweet, locally owned Greek restaurant that I have been coming here for a while now. They have very affordable and delicious food that won't break the bank. If you like a great place with dope staff and good people, this is the place to be. They also have lunch specials which is a definite plus. 10/10“

“This Place is a hidden gem. Walking home and saw the recently opened "THE KABOB GRILL". I went in for an exquisite dinner. I had the chicken kabob- with my discount it was less than $15 for a full plate or rice, salad, yogurt and a pita. The plate comes with a grilled tomato and I requested some of their hot sauce. You should too! There is a big parking lot across the street and I was told they offer free valet.“

Since I moved to this neighborhood just over 4 Years ago (March 2019) have enjoyed bringing my best buddy "Rocker Spaniel" here on our walks. He Loved the Greek Scenery:) and claro que si the food two. Let us not forget the BLACK and White illuminati Checkerboard tiles. Rocker left us at Age 12 Dog Years on February 18th but putting his photo on my Smart Phone screen saver refreshed my Love ❤️ for this place. “Very close to Petco Park and a great place to sit down and have a beer, get a gyro playe and people watch. The prices are reasonable and staff are friendly. They keep their restrooms clean also which is a plus. We always stop by this restaurant for a drink and get the pork belly sandwich whenever we go to the Padres game.“

“Food was good. However, the cashiers were busy cleaning up for the night vs taking care of customers. It wasn’t late, either. It was around 7:30 or 7:45 on a Sunday. The cleaners they use are very strong. Very pinesol or something like that. Glad I got food to go because I wouldn’t want to have smelled the cleaners during dinner. Dining room had zero vibe.“

“I was on an MM Tour food tour and a ferry to Coronado Island. Maria took us to Spiro's Mediterranean restaurant. We enjoyed a delicious grilled salmon with pita and Greek salad. We also got to enjoy a new dish on their menu and the lamb pita was sooooo good, flavorful. The service was great and the ambiance was awesome. I felt I was on a Greek island. The next time you're on Coronado Island please go and enjoy authentic Greek cuisine.“

“I had a chicken bowl here and it was truly amazing. The service was great as well. This Luna Grill has some of the freshest, highest-quality meat I’ve had. Out of all the grills, it’s my favorite. “This is my favorite place for chilaquiles verde. Best chilaquiles I’ve had. The tortillas have just the right crunch to it and the salsa is delicious. The only complaint I have here is the under staff. Took awhile to get our order in and out. Only saw to ladies serving and it was not that busy. Other than that it was great experience.“
