“Love this place. Their BBQ chicken pizza is my favorite. It's always the perfect crisp. I love all the toppings in this pizza. Very consistent. And their sweet chili & lemon pepper wings are really good. Packed with flavor. Tried the wagyu sliders but they were NOT a hit. Wasn't flavorful, kinda blain, basic and were so sad the tater tots had no flavor at all. But hella crispy. Atmosphere is cool, tvs and little bar top. The staff is ok. The owner is a wonderful person who always goes above and beyond for us. All the workers are friendly people. “Stopped by Bottle Rocket after reading all the excellent reviews. It was a Wednesday night which is Wings night (6 wings for $6) so decided to give those a shot. We were welcomed immediately upon entering by the staff and found the service throughout the visit to be prompt and friendly. You have to go to the bar to place your food orders and are given a number to place on your table for delivery. We ordered two of the 6 piece wings as well as a cheeseburger and an order of fries. The wings came out piping hot but a little bit overcooked. The bbq sauce was really good but the mango habanero was more on the sweet side than spicy which was disappointing. The burger looked really appetizing but was a bit average in comparison to similar places we frequent. Fries were crispy and tasty. Bottle Rocket also has an excellent selection of beers available. I would be more apt to visit them in the future for drinks than for their food because the service was super friendly and the vibe of the place was laid back and fun in general.“

I particularly enjoyed the Cardiff tri-tip option—it adds a nice local touch to the menu, and the burger was exquisite!One thing that bothered me was the need to pay extra for fries instead of chips. While the fries were indeed really good, shouldn't a burger come with fries?The restaurant offers plenty of wine and beer selections, and the service was nice and attentive. However, despite sitting indoors, it was surprisingly cold, even with our jackets on!Overall, while I wouldn't give it a 5-star rating, I still recommend this place“

If you're walking by or you're in the area and it's a nice day, it's a nice place to just grab a little bite to eat, especially on a nice day.The prices are a tad high but let's just say having a burger in the sunshine is totally worth it.Parking: Plenty of free parking. “Phenomenal food and service!!! I came in for a late lunch and was greeted by the owner Miguel, who lured me in with a delicious smelling steak he was cooking up on their outdoor smoker grill. Brooke, the waitress and bartender gave exceptional service! I mentioned I liked the olives in my bloodymary so she totally surprised me with an extra full skewer of them! Their bloodymary mix is homemade, I asked for mine to be spicy and she did it very well! I ordered the verde pozole that was fantastic and freshly made with all the fixings - Freddy is an excellent chef! I also ordered the elote bites and I agree with the menu description - an absolute favorite! Moderate sized bites of elote goodness sprinkled with some cotija and a homemade creamy chipotle sauce for dipping. I also ordered their wings and went with the mango habenero sauce that was absolutely delicious - perfect mix of heat & sweet over savory delicious crispy wings, served with an ample portion of homemade delicious ranch dressing good enough to scrape the last bite of! When I saw the sign. American and Mexican food, I was unsure if it'd be disappointing Americanized Mexican dishes...nope, the sign is exactly correct, their menu is a separate mix of delicious authentic GREAT Mexican food AND delicious homemade GREAT American food. The atmosphere is perfect to chill and catch any type of TV you'd like to watch, mix of sports, classic movies, the news, and more. Steele 94 offers a wide range of exquisite bourbons, whiskeys, and other fine liquor classics and draft beers. But wait there's more.... WATER IS FILTERED AND FRESH!!! Most places serve tap water that tastes like chemicals, Steele 94 serves refreshing filtered water that tastes like you're drinking straight from a mountain spring - no residues or floating chemicals in the water or ice! Nestled in a quaint area at the bottom of the mountains, there are other nearby great and unbeatable shopping for other goods such as produce and farm supplies, and of course my favorite veterinarian is right across the street, Steele Canyon Vet. “We recently stopped into Bootlegger for a bite and a beverage. Shasta waited on us and was an excellent server. We decided to split a build a burger and ordered a beer each. The burger was enormous and delicious - Thursdays they are on special and you can get as many toppings as you like with no up charges. It’s a good deal. The fries were a bit disappointing because they weren’t crispy enough and kind of soft/limp. It wasn’t super busy the day we went but I imagine during baseball season or weekends it gets pretty crowded there. Bootlegger has a large selection of brews on top. We will definitely be back again.“
“Our bartender really wanted to find drinks we would enjoy. She made me a wonderful drink called the white girl which I am and it was delicious. This is the oldest bar in san diego. Check it out beautiful bar back and lots of memorabilia. Walk onto history and just soak up all those who came before you.“
“Food is really great but yeah service was slow. My daughter had the seafood spaghetti, my husband had the lasagna, i had the build your own pesto pasta. Their pesto pasta was really good. The dried tomatoes on it was so good. Pesto sauce was creamy. I had shrimp and meatballs on it. Chicken and shrimp would have been better. The build your own pasta is good for two especially if you're having 2 kinds of meat. Their meatballs was big and good, that would be great with the spaghetti not pesto.“
