The bartender was an awesome host and waiter. She was by herself. She was friendly, pleasant, and fast for workkng the front alone. Great atmosphere.
Excellent atmosphere and drinks ♥
When I dropped in, it lived up to its name. Surprisingly politicized, I never got the feeling I was exactly welcomed although the bartender was right there on top of me with kind solace for my ails. I tried a offered taste and enjoyed the company. It was during my brief flight in Hillcrest. For a few minutes I had the feeling everyone was observing me on their phones. Gossip Grill was definitely at the center of that sense of observation. Thank you for your reply.

The staff is friendly and welcoming, creating a safe and enjoyable environment, especially for women. There are two sides to the Grill, along with an outdoor seating area. One side is great for socializing, while the other features a dance floor. The atmosphere is lively, with a safe and friendly vibe for the LGBTQ+ community.
Recently, the music has received mixed reviews; while the DJ from 6pm to 10pm played decent songs, some caused people to just stand on the dance floor. However, the next DJ was amazing and energized the crowd after 10pm. Although service can vary between the two bars, with one side showing better customer service than the other, many guests still leave with great experiences. The food is well-loved, with dishes like shrimp and grits impressing diners. The vibe and decor of the place are also highlighted as cute and inviting. Overall, Gossip Grill remains a must-visit spot in the San Diego area.
