Carlton Oaks is a gorgeous venue with a wonderful staff. Gwen is a cheerful and fun server and my new friend💃…PLUS the food is delicious!
Nice employees, comfortable patio, and decent prices.
The chipotle chicken quesadilla was delicious. Also made good banter with the patrons watching the NFL games on television

Oaks Bar & Grill offers a welcoming atmosphere with a beautiful view of the golf course. The service is great, with friendly staff and good bartenders who provide attentive and friendly service. The food is a highlight, with options like hamburgers and fries, along with a variety of drinks such as French 75 and vodka tonic. The restaurant has a lively atmosphere on Friday nights, featuring live guitar playing by talented musicians like Joe Rathburn, which makes for an enjoyable evening. The bar is spacious enough to host large parties of over 75 people, and there are plenty of outdoor seating options with scenic views of the golf course. It’s a nice place to sit, relax, and enjoy the golf course scenery, whether you're playing golf or just spending a day in San Diego. The patio is a lovely spot to invite friends for a fun and relaxing time, and the outdoor seating offers a kid-friendly environment. The golf course itself has room for improvements and would look more aesthetically pleasing if it was greener, but it remains a great place to enjoy a nice drink and some good food. Overall, Oaks Bar & Grill is a fun, scenic spot perfect for relaxing with friends or family while taking in the beautiful surroundings.
