Overall superior to what you expect of a small fast food ish type Chinese restaurant. It was about 10pm when we got there, and the place was quite busy with a short line at the counter, and calls for to go orders coming in pretty frequently. Staff were hopping, but efficient and very pleasant, even to the kinda problematic customer in line in front of us.

Golden Dragon is an amazing spot, better than delicious food with amazing customer service and a very welcoming atmosphere. It is superior to what one expects of a small fast food ish type Chinese restaurant. The best Chinese food in town, the restaurant is very clean and family friendly. The food is super delicious, prepared fresh with ingredients that looked very fresh and of premium quality. Everything is cooked perfectly, and quantities are more than generous at very reasonable prices. The place was quite busy, but staff were efficient and very pleasant. The perfect hole-in-the-wall Chinese spot in La Mesa. The orange chicken is the best ever tasted, and the chow mein and broccoli beef were hot and fresh and didn't break the bank. The chen’s plate with broccoli beef (broccoli was super crisp) and orange chicken is a hit. The rice is off the hook, and the food was cooked through accurate and very yummy. This is a great spot found on google maps, and customers will always come here first for this food.
