Local neighborhood bar that has some good cover bands on the weekends.
Came in on a whim around midnight with a few friends after closing my bar. The bartender was very sweet and made us some pretty decent shots. The draft beers were ice cold and priced well. Quite a few people for a week night. We shot some pool and stayed till last call. I hadn’t been there in over 15 years. Completely forgot what a great dive bar it was and has always been. I’ll definitely be coming back more often.
After a long, demanding day at work, I walked into Pal Joey’s expecting nothing more than a quick drink before heading home. Instead, I was met by the bartender, Alyssa, whose tender and compassionate spirit completely turned my evening around. The bartenders provide top-notch service, and the live band was fantastic. The atmosphere is relaxed, with two pool tables, a solid Touchtunes jukebox playlist, and great selection. Friendly staff, reasonable prices, and a unique atmosphere make it a must-visit spot. Locals love it for generations, and it is a great spot for night shift workers to wind down, with easy access to nearby food places, including pizza and mexican. Live entertainment and sporting events on bar TVs add to the experience.
