“I've been here a half dozen times over the years. It's a nice crowd. Fun and laughter fill the place. I've gone mostly for breakfast on Sundays. But I've taken dates there twice. We always had fun and the people there on the weekend nights were party happy.
I saw the review from the out of towner who said he left without a drink or lunch. Not sure what happened but as a bar manager myself I drill into my bartenders that the patron always gets an acknowledgement when they walk in the door. If they are busy doing something they let the patron know they will be right there or stop what they are doing and greet or serve them. I can't imagine a bartender in a vet org not doing it. But I wasn't there.“

“My husband was in a business dinner and they walked some of gaslamp afterwards. After they parted ways, he needed to use the bathroom so he ran in the closest restaurant. They said he couldn't use it unless he was a customer. I totally get that but they were packed out so it made no sense.... Either way, he bought a chicken quesadilla to go. He brought it back to the room for me and our sons to have. It tasted good...until my youngest son spit out a piece of plastic he found inside the quesadilla. My Husband called about it the next day bc they were then closed. Their response was "oops sorry" like wth?! They then said "bring it back along with the plastic." No mention of a refund or investigation of how it happened. And by that point, room service had come and took the box of the rest of the food plus no one wanted to fight downtown traffic and pay to park to have them possibly offer us another quesadilla . 🙄 Again the food we did eat, minus the plastic, was good but the service wasn't.“

“Your normal local dive bar.Crowd can be a little so so, however tends to not ever be packed.There was always some sort of celebration that would have a potluck, they were always friendly enough to ask you if you wanted to join.We would go for our quite date nights. Round 8 ish to 10 maybe 11. Pool, cheap drinks, interesting people watching and comfy clothes never stood out.“

“This club is tucked away downtown and I kind of enjoyed it myself. A lot of couples came in, dressed in similar clothes to one another and we’re cutting a rug on the dance floor. Line dancing couples - classics of R&B . The drinks were good. Had a great time.“

“Definitely not a place that gets going all night like a club would but a very cool and quaint spot to grab a drink with a group friends. Pool tables and a variety of drinks on tap. Bartenders are receptive as well. Juke Box is a plus to play music of one’s choice.It’s honestly kind of it’s own place in the middle of everything, but wouldn’t mind staying here for a night and drink the night away. The Elwood is nearby too.“

The bartender (white dude with long hair ??) he has stellar customer service ?? met friendly people and staff! I like how they have a smoking area where you could still hear the music dead on , but they could have dimmer lights in the smoking section coz it bothered my eyes ???? I didn't get to try the food but I look forward to doing so soon!! Security was on it, great communication skills amongst each other and they paid attention all around; I felt safe.. I don't think anyone would mess with ??. Bathroom was very clean and the long mirror A+ ???. I ordered patron and redbull, I suggest they keep their redbulls chilled since a customer like myself orders the entire can ? price was decent!! I went earlier so parking was great for me but probably not for the late heads ?“

“So much fun! From Sunday Football games and giant Jenga to Karaoke and Beer Pong. The only thing missing was darts! Otherwise fantastic experience in the Gaslamp District of SD! 4 out of 5 stars!!“

“This was our go-to spot before the game and it didn’t disappoint. Super fun atmosphere with interactive games to play with friends, and the sliders were actually really good. Tons of TVs so you don’t miss any of the action. The best part for me was the open rooftop — gave it that outdoor feel without having to deal with the heat. Great vibes all around!“

“Such a good experience at our local Applebees. I loved the touch of having local sports teams displayed. We were tended the perfect amount. Cheyanne our server was wonderful. Unfortunately they didn’t have the passion fruit lemonade I liked but he went above and beyond to double check if they had it and offered an alternative. “Swing Social was one of the best bar and restaurant experiences I’ve had in a long time. My friends and I came to surprise a buddy with a Super Mario themed birthday and everything was perfect. Huge shoutout to Marshall for taking great care of us and making the night feel welcoming and fun. The bartender even added a couple of our song requests which made it even better. Drinks were amazing, food was great, and the music and atmosphere were on point. 10 out of 10 recommend and I’m already thinking about bringing my company here for a corporate party soon.“

“Where is the 10 star option for service? I was at the hotel for a few nights for work. The entire bar staff was so hospitable and professional — it’s Elijah who really distinguished himself. By my third of three nights, he knew my name, what I was drinking, and what I wanted to see on the TV (hockey). That young man embodies hospitality.“

“Used to do shows here when it was over the border. Nice place to hang out. It has a chill vibe, especially on a reggae night. Went for Ruff em' up Posse. One negative is that they make you pay for water, but I know that on a busy night pouring water can slow down bar service. They should have maybe just a large self serve water jug like most clubs have. Otherwise fantastic time back it this South Bay hit spot.“
