Great place with a small menu—burger, cheeseburger and fries is what they have, and it's great! They have a nice selection of beer on tab and the staff is chill. The place is on the small side and is a cash establishment, so keep that in mind, but they have an in-house atm, so that's convenient.
Best burger in San Diego bar NONE. Simple menu, cash only, and no nonsense service. Expect to wait a bit for the burger but it's absolutely worth it. Has never let me down in several years of patronage.Parking: Free street parking in the neighborhood around the restaurant.

The 1/2 pound cheeseburger and basket of fries gets a solid 4 stars at Rockys. The only reason I couldn't give 5 stars is my burger and fries weren't hot at service and no napkins were provided.Burger was juicy and perfectly dressed with pickles, onion, lettuce, tomato and of course cheese.
