The meet was tender and juicy beyond belief, we all fought over the corn bread, but the surprise of the night was how unbelievable their turkey was! “Last night, I ate one of the best Salmon plates I ever had. They were super fast at seating us. I enjoyed the Jalepeno Cheese Curds too. Staff were friendly and helpful. “If I could, I'd rate this place a 4.5. My BBQ bacon burger was excellent, deserving of a 5-star rating. The sweet BBQ sauce, quality burger, crispy onion ring, flavorful bacon, and fresh lettuce made for a delightful meal. The fries, while not my favorite, were seasoned with salt and pepper, adding a unique touch but earning only a 3-star rating from me. I appreciated the selection of "Stubborn Soda" flavors available. The service was very pleasant, and the establishment was clean. Overall, highly recommended.“

“My friend and I were celebrating both of our birthdays at Black Angus for lunch. We decided to have the Campfire Feast - both had the filet mignon, loaded baked potato (she had the brussels sprouts, and I had the salad. A bottle of wine was half off! (I myself had an Angry Orchard). Our starter was the cheesy garlic bread (you can never go wrong with that!) And for our desert that was included we chose the Mudpie. And then, Robert, our amazing waiter brought out the Birthday Cowboy cookie with the ice cream to the side for each of us (he knew we were taking our cookies home). If you haven't tried this...omg! That entire meal for two (including the wine) was only $105 before tip. We did have to pay $5 each extra for the filet mignon and I believe the loaded baked potato was also a few extra dollars. Yes, we took leftovers home. In fact, I had enough for two more meals! So worth it and still so delicious. Robert, our waiter was very friendly and help. Helped my friend pick out the wine she wanted and gave us other suggestions while trying to select our meal options. He was very helpful. Black Angus is one of my favorite restaurants and they made our birthdays celebrations even more special!“

“I ordered Cali BBQ for the first time tonight and the 5 star reviews aren't lying. I ordered a combo plate with ribs and brisket that were both amazing. The coleslaw and potato salad were both super fresh and delicious, and I'm pretty picky about those side dishes because they're often lackluster from other restaurants. My husband had the brisket sandwich and he was in heaven, saying it was one of the best sandwiches he's ever eaten. I ordered peach cobbler to round out the meal but haven't eaten it yet (I'm so full and still have a whole meal's worth of food for tomorrow!) but it looks and smells legit. So happy I finally tried this restaurant after 2 years of living in the neighborhood!“

The atmosphere is beautiful and it's nice we have this place in Jamul. The only downside is side is that the hours seem to be hit or miss which I assume is why they don't have more reviews. A new business needs to have set hours and be open 7 days a week to thrive in a small town.“
“The food here is pretty darn good. It's not inventive, but it is a great place to get a standard American breakfast. Service can be a little slow when dining during busy times and sometimes getting a table can take a few minutes. I wouldn't come here when you are starving, but you definitely won't leave here hungry.“

“The Chicago dog at Top Dog SD is a home run! The poppy seed bun straight from Chicago enhances the experience. The pickled chili, fresh tomatoes, and juicy pickle create a flavor explosion. “We found Jo's on Diners, Drive-ins & Dives and knew we had to try the French dip that Guy had on our first visit to San Diego. The food was amazing! The French dip was just as good as Guy portrayed. The service was excellent and the restaurant was warm and inviting.“
“My husband and I love Public House 131! We go for brunch every Saturday and I look forward to it all week. Literally all the food on the brunch menu Is great! They also have regular menu items if brunch isn't your thing. We also go for lunch and dinner when we can. They update the menu frequently (seasonally?), so there are new things to try, but also the popular items. Our new favorites are the Cobb Club and Mushroom Risotto, but I also recommend the Greek Wedge Salad, Buffalo Wings, Birria Fries, Pub Burger, Flat Top Cheese Burger, and Loco Moco. You really can't go wrong. And the people who work there are very welcoming. It's a great vibe. Casual and relaxed.“

“Very good food with a lot of sports channels of various types on simultaneously, including x games and skating competition. The only thing I wish is that the salmon serving was either a bit larger, or came with a side, because I was still hungry when I left. So I felt slightly jipped. But the food is very good. This place is more than a sports bar. It's good healthy choices and salads. The burgers and fry selections are good too. J52 even has fried Brussels sprouts with plumb sauce. Also very good. The fried zucchini is always perfect too.“

“this place is very good. amazing options for vegetarian and in general. the food is amazing and pretty healthy too. the service is impeccable and they are always asking me if i’m doing okay and i just find customer service like that to be superb. and they have craft soda! the kind of soda that doesn’t make you feel fat when you get it and is just the better soda options altogether. definitely on the pricey side with my ordering coming in at 15 dollars every time but for the quality i think it’s worth it.“
