“I had the privilege of being a customer of Elite Baking. I live on the east coast and was ordering a cake for a friend in San Diego. Elite Baking's communication was wonderful. I sent her some inspiration and vision pics and the result was way better than anything I asked for. She has so much attention to detail and thoughtfulness in her design. My friend was blown away with beauty of the cake and said the cake tasted delicious! Elite Baking went above and beyond for the delivery and were so patient as it took a bit longer for her to get in touch with my friend for delivery. I would recommend Elite Baking to anyone. “They made the best Swedish Princess cake for my mil’s 95th birthday. It was beautiful and such a big hit, everyone loved it. We had plenty left over to send people home with a piece, and we had left overs. It tasted even better the next day, as we were not stiffed from lunch! Amazing detail, texture and flavor.“

He was very knowledgeable, took note of our special occasion, and struck up good conversation. We needed a specific gluten free cake due to dietary restrictions and this location delivered. “I don’t usually make much of small outings anymore, but this Sunday I found myself stepping into Cold Stone Creamery for a simple cup of ice cream. At 58, a man starts to feel the years settle into his bones a bit, and I’ll admit I don’t often feel like the young fellow I once was.

But standing there at the counter, listening to those two young men behind it carrying ontossing jokes back and forth, laughing like they didn’t have a care in the world I couldn’t help but smile. Before I knew it, we were talking about women, about school, about what they wanted to do with their lives. It was lighthearted, easy conversation, the kind that reminds you of days when everything felt wide open and possible.

The ice cream itself was nothing to write home about, truth be told. At my age, I have to think about my diet more than I’d like to. But the experience that feeling of being included in their laughter, of sharing a few minutes of simple joy well, that was sweeter than anything in the cup.

If I didn’t have to worry about cholesterol and waistlines, and if every visit felt the way that one did, I dare say you’d find me in that shop far more often. For a brief moment, those boys made an old man feel young again, and that’s worth more than a scoop of ice cream.“

“We ordered 14 cupcakes for a special occasion. 12 chocolate peanut butter and 2 pumpkin spice. The chocolate peanut butter cupcakes are amazing!! Probably the best all around in San Diego, but I would definitely NOT recommend the pumpkin spice. They are extremely soggy on the bottom of the cupcake. I called to ask about them, and they are apparently supposed to be that way. Yuck, who wants soggy soaked cupcakes? Not us. So I would recommend steering clear of those.“

“Had such a great experience at Cold Stone Creamery tonight! It was a rainy evening and the place was packed, but the young crew member working handled the entire line by herself like a pro. Even with the crowd, she stayed calm, moved efficiently, and kept a great attitude the whole time.

“Good ice cream and very generous portions. The small was equal to a large in the UK or other European countries. Ice cream is very sweet but so tasty. Being able to mix ingredients was a highlight for my daughter. Would definitely visit again.“

“Walked into the store and there was probably 10 people ahead of me in line. There was a young lady working and two young men. All three were very friendly and did a good job of making us feel welcomed while talking with everyone there. The kid I had make my order was new (he was abit slower and you can tell he was still learning) but he did a good job of handling his own while more people crowded into the store. The young lady seemed to be running the show but did a fantastic job of socializing with the customers while making orders. Fantastic team and top tier teamwork compared to all of the other cold stones I’ve been to.“
