“Absolutely INCREDIBLE ! Jennifer's creations let me know how passionate she is about the art of chocolate. We had the OMG ganache torte, the brownie (best ive ever had) and 3 truffles. “I went to the Katy, TX location and that location also doesn’t have seating. I’m not sure if that’s a common theme. They do have a standing table that you can place your dessert and eat. I ordered the upside down with matcha and sakura berry soft serve and matcha custard filling. This was from March 29, 2026 so I’m not sure if they changed out flavors. Everything was delicious. The soft serve was good but I didn’t really taste the sakura berry. Parking is plentiful, it’s in a shared lot. Pricing is fair. Service was fast and pleasant.“

Unique taiwanese shaved snow place. there's no other place like this in San Diego that i know of. It's a small business that has been around for at least a decade. Very busy friday/weekend nights, lines usually long but if you go weekdays it's better.

the snow is made with real ingredients unlike other places that use powders/syrups for flavor. The blocks of snow are already flavored (think of it like a big block or ice cream, just shaved in layers). Service is also generally good!

I would recommend getting any dairy based snow with condensed milk layered! it brings out the flavor. the non dairy flavors are like sorbet but also very tasty (i like the lychee or super lemon which tastes like frozen lemonade).

if you pick a build your own bowl, it's weighed (snow or softserve) after you get toppings. I notice it's usually between $5-$10 obviously dependent on weight but the minimum is 4.50 so if you are below that, they'll just charge 4.50.

I'd recommend this place if you want a lighter sweet treat! Other places can be heavy but because this is shaved, it's easier on the tummy. they do also have waffle creations that seem good for couples to share~ (my favorite is the strawberry shorty, it has cheesecake bites and fresh strawberries, the waffle, and vanilla softserve). they have taiyaki too but it's not like somi somi where there's icecream inside, it's just filled or plain (the nutella one is really good).“

“This place is literally phenomenal. Banana bread pudding matcha latte, strawberry matcha, matcha cheese cake, ube and matcha ice cream is absolutely spectacular. Can’t wait to come back and try more things from their menu. The matcha is ceremonial which makes everything high quality.
P.s. there’s a ramen noodles station there and it’s also amazing. 🤤“

“The Passionfruit Tart, Chocolate Marquise, Banana Butterscotch and Pistachio Strawberry were all beautiful and delicious. I would definitely repeat them, but I also have a Bucket List a mile long.

If you are looking for a Gourmet Dessert, this place nails it. This was my first time trying their desserts. I had them delivered and they arrived in great shape.

If I was forced to choose a favorite, the Passionfruit Tart might win. But the Chocolate Marquise has chocolate mousse with a chocolate ganache. Swoon. I think it's by Clement. His have a special look. The Passionfruit Tart had a chocolate crust and Passionfruit Curd filling. I am always crazy about a tropical flavor like that.

Everything was so beautiful, you can't help but feel happier just looking at them. It's always nice when they taste as good as they look.

And now, I have tried them a second time and found some new favorites. The Chocolate Hazelnut was incredible! I also loved the chocolate strawberry heart. These beautiful, delicious desserts have made my day... twice. 🥰“

“This place is an absolute gem for a family treat! It is the perfect spot for dessert or a quick pick-me-up, and my two kids and I love coming here. They offer a fantastic variety of different cheesecakes, and every slice we have tried is incredibly light, fluffy, and perfectly sweet without being overwhelming.

I usually go for their rich and delicious brown sugar milk tea. My kids also love the boba tea options. They even have some excellent health drinks on the menu, which are a great, refreshing option for gym goers.

Beyond the fantastic menu, the service is consistently amazing. The staff is super friendly, and the place has a welcoming, relaxed vibe. Highly recommend!“

“My friend and I stopped by Insomnia Cookies on 9/22 on our way to the Padres game. It was our first time there, and while we were taking a moment to look over the menu, Thomas greeted us with such kindness and enthusiasm. He asked if we had any questions, shared his favorites, and was super knowledgeable about the menu.

When we mentioned it was our first visit, he got even more excited and went out of his way to make sure we had a great experience.
