Ripe and flavorful fruit pieces (mangos, peach, strawberry, etc) hidden inside a smooth, lightly sweeten layer of shaved ice. Perfectly refreshing on a hot day. The shop also feels cozy, typical Japanese style. Parking can be a bit tricky in the little plaza. Better to park on Raytheon Rd to the North and walk in.“

“My brother has raved about this place and I see what all the hype was about. This is the best ice cream sandwich I've ever had. I'm not even one to gravitate towards ice cream sandwiches. This was incredible. The cookies and ice cream are incredible. The ratio of sauces and toppings was just right. Friendly staff who were very helpful for my first time being here. “Last night was my first time trying this place and it was delicious! It was some of the best matcha soft serve I’ve had. The flavor was super rich but not overpowering. I’d definitely recommend eating it earlier in the day because it kept me up all night haha.

Staff were friendly. Plenty of free parking in the lot. Lots of seating inside for all party sizes. Lots of people came to study and hangout inside, fun vibe. It’s connected to the ramen place, which is also cool! I’ll definitely be back!“

“The Passionfruit Tart, Chocolate Marquise, Banana Butterscotch and Pistachio Strawberry were all beautiful and delicious. I would definitely repeat them, but I also have a Bucket List a mile long.

If you are looking for a Gourmet Dessert, this place nails it. This was my first time trying their desserts. I had them delivered and they arrived in great shape.

If I was forced to choose a favorite, the Passionfruit Tart might win. But the Chocolate Marquise has chocolate mousse with a chocolate ganache. Swoon. I think it's by Clement. His have a special look. The Passionfruit Tart had a chocolate crust and Passionfruit Curd filling. I am always crazy about a tropical flavor like that.

Everything was so beautiful, you can't help but feel happier just looking at them. It's always nice when they taste as good as they look.

And now, I have tried them a second time and found some new favorites. The Chocolate Hazelnut was incredible! I also loved the chocolate strawberry heart. These beautiful, delicious desserts have made my day... twice. 🥰“

“Tiramisu cake was top notch! Viking cake was super rich, but still delicious. Paired with red wines and vanilla bean ice cream. Ice cream came out first, cake about 3 minutes later, but wines were delayed quite some time. Service was fairly slow, but staff were extremely friendly and obviously hard at work. Huge portions! Recommendation: a garnish or side of strawberries with the Viking cake.“

“This place is an absolute gem for a family treat! It is the perfect spot for dessert or a quick pick-me-up, and my two kids and I love coming here. They offer a fantastic variety of different cheesecakes, and every slice we have tried is incredibly light, fluffy, and perfectly sweet without being overwhelming.

I usually go for their rich and delicious brown sugar milk tea. My kids also love the boba tea options. They even have some excellent health drinks on the menu, which are a great, refreshing option for gym goers.

Beyond the fantastic menu, the service is consistently amazing. The staff is super friendly, and the place has a welcoming, relaxed vibe. Highly recommend!“

The fact that any time of day or night that you can just go in and get a hot and ready chocolate chip cookie, that tastes like mom used to make… Means I was born in the right era!!“

“My friend and I stopped by Insomnia Cookies on 9/22 on our way to the Padres game. It was our first time there, and while we were taking a moment to look over the menu, Thomas greeted us with such kindness and enthusiasm. He asked if we had any questions, shared his favorites, and was super knowledgeable about the menu.

When we mentioned it was our first visit, he got even more excited and went out of his way to make sure we had a great experience. It’s rare these days to get that level of genuine, friendly customer service, so I really wanted to take a moment, even if it’s a little late, to recognize how helpful and kind Thomas was.
