Beautiful, moist, delicious red velvet cake with butter cream frosting (which we requested custom because our 7-year-old is…well…7 and not a cream cheese frosting aficionado.)
Unfortunately, I have to deduct a star because the website doesn’t mention there also will be raspberry filling and our 7-year-old (who the cake was for) didn’t like it.

OMG! We picked up some AMAZING birthday cupcakes at Babycakes, in San Diego! Jeffery was so patient with us (so many from which to choose!) He perfectly described each flavor profile and how each rated in popularity. He was so sweet and personable. He even included birthday candles in our box! We each tasted one of our picks (my birthday isn’t until tomorrow) and saying they didn’t disappoint would be a huge understatement!
