“This amazing pastry shop was located near our hotel, and we came here for breakfast. It was fantastic! It got quite busy around 8 a.m. on a weekday, but we managed to snag a cozy outdoor seat. The croissants looked amazing, flaky, buttery, and perfectly baked. My partner and I shared the Filled Kouign amann, and I wish we had ordered more because they were that good. Unfortunately, the tempting Little Italy eateries were calling, so we kept it light. Still, it’s a very cute coffee and pastry shop I’d love to return to.“

“Desserts and drinks all look really beautiful. I've tried a few of their pastries and drinks, and they're unique which helps them stand out. The teas were okay, syrups were a bit strong. Pastries were good buy maybe for someone else. They were just overly sweet we weren't able to enjoy the flavors. Had to wash it down every bite with water. That's really a preference, but just in case someone out there doesn't like super sweet desserts like us. Service was 10/10.“

Their cakes are moist, perfectly sweet, and perfect for any celebration. Special thanks to Ma’am Monaliza, Ma’am Dimes, Anna, and Jenalyn for their incredible support during Music Tree’s Beauty of Broadway: Beauty and the Beast show. “I had an iced latte and a banana chocolate chip loaf at this community coffee shop while visiting a friend at Sunroad Enterprises at Spectrum Center.

The latte was very good. I had it with oat milk and a touch of cinnamon. The latter had just the right amount of ice, too. They use Cafe Moto. The loaf was very tasty. It did need to be heated just a little bit more, but it was super moist and soft.

The coffee shop offers a lot of good inside and outside seating. It's a great place for meet up and meetings. The hospitality was good and so was the service. They offer ready made food items as well.“

“We found this place at random when looking for brunch, and it looked good. I’m allergic to canola oil, gluten, and dairy, so I always appreciate better quality places. They did not disappoint! They used olive oil so I didn’t need to worry, and had a lot more choices. The menu is really well marked for food allergies. The Shakshuka was flavorful and hot, gluten free bread was ideal for dipping in the sauce, salad was fresh. Very nice place, will need to try some of the other menu items next time.“

“Great take out spot for delicious pastries, croissants and macaroons. The raspberry filled almond croissant is one of the best I’ve ever had in my life. Reasonable prices and they take custom orders. The packaging and ingredients are top notch.“

“First time ordering a cake here, and my family and I agree, this is our new birthday cake spot! I ordered a red velvet cake as requested by my 17 year old birthday girl. I'm not usually a fan of red velvet cake personally, but I would eat Babycakes' red velvet again in a heartbeat. It was beautiful and delicious. The cake was moist, the cream cheese icing was light and fluffy, and it included a raspberry filling which was a pleasant surprise that really made boring red velvet flavor (in my opinion) something special and interesting.

A lot of bakery cakes are sweet enough to take the enamel off your teeth but this cake was just the right sweetness for our tastes. If you dislike the intense sweetness of many of the chain cake bakeries, you too will probably like Babycakes. Service at the Hillcrest location was friendly and efficient, too. We will definitely be ordering our future cakes from here.“
