“They made the best Swedish Princess cake for my mil’s 95th birthday. It was beautiful and such a big hit, everyone loved it. “I’m usually not a fan of the tipping culture, especially at places like frozen yogurt or ice cream shops where you’re asked to tip before you’ve even had any interaction. But this Cold Stone changed my mind.

I didn’t catch the younger guy’s name, but he was exactly what customer service should be. He actually made conversation, asked how my day was, and didn’t just go through the motions. I know it’s a small thing, but if you’re going to ask someone how they’re doing, at least make it genuineand he did. That’s the kind of service that actually earns a tip.

The whole crew was friendly, the ice cream was great, and the experience stood out because of the people working there. Give these guys a raise, a promotion, or both. This is the kind of customer service more businesses need.“

“I don’t usually make much of small outings anymore, but this Sunday I found myself stepping into Cold Stone Creamery for a simple cup of ice cream. At 58, a man starts to feel the years settle into his bones a bit, and I’ll admit I don’t often feel like the young fellow I once was.

But standing there at the counter, listening to those two young men behind it carrying ontossing jokes back and forth, laughing like they didn’t have a care in the world I couldn’t help but smile. Before I knew it, we were talking about women, about school, about what they wanted to do with their lives. It was lighthearted, easy conversation, the kind that reminds you of days when everything felt wide open and possible.

The ice cream itself was nothing to write home about, truth be told. At my age, I have to think about my diet more than I’d like to. But the experience that feeling of being included in their laughter, of sharing a few minutes of simple joy well, that was sweeter than anything in the cup.

If I didn’t have to worry about cholesterol and waistlines, and if every visit felt the way that one did, I dare say you’d find me in that shop far more often. For a brief moment, those boys made an old man feel young again, and that’s worth more than a scoop of ice cream.“

“My husband and I love this location, it's a favorite date night spot! The staff is always friendly and service is quick... and of course the product is always delicious. It's a bonus that they also sell Rocky Mountain Chocolate Company here as well. My only critique is that there is a gentleman who works the counter and always asks us to pay in cash. He is polite, but I'm not sure of the motive behind it and it's 2026... nobody carries cash! It just ends up making you feel guilty every time you have to say no, but yet you are supporting the business. 🤷🏻‍♀️“

“We are locals and every time we visit Seaport Village we always visit this Ben & Jerry’s ice cream shop. We’ve visited so much we’ve had the pleasure of meeting the owner Michelle. She’s very friendly and loves her customers. She’s adamant all her employees make every customer feel special. On this occasion we were served by Julian who was a very nice, cheerful and a polite young man. We adore their homemade waffle cones dipped in a large variety of toppings from chocolate to sprinkles to nuts and many more. We are in awe of the huge selection of flavors. They have so many varieties they even have a Ben & Jerry’s ice cream made and dedicated for doggies. We love our ice cream and we love this family owned business. Go get your 🍦“
