This will probably be my last visit to this location. It's a 2 minute drive from our house and we are in the Mira Mesa Village shopping center regularly...but I would much rather take the extra drive to Handles in Del Mar. I visited last night to take advantage of my birthday "free scoop" offer. When you walk in, the place smells great. Maybe because they were making waffle cones. First of all Ahmed was great. I realize it's Memorial Day and he was working alone. There were a lot of people in there. He worked right through everyone with a smile and was very friendly. He kept busy even after everyone was gone. Washed his hands as well. Kudos young man. You were great!The door and the floors were dirty so I gave him a pass in that. The store is usually pretty clean. This a 4 and not 5 stars.

We have yet to have a bad experience here. Good variety of flavors and cup of cone options. Dipped cones with sprinkles are always a hit with the kids. The Valentine's Day flavor with raspberry chocolate is delicious and they have plenty of options for folks with different taste buds. A few dine in and dine out tables and generally plenty of parking.
