We selected a cake labeled as cookies and cream ice cream and chocolate cake from the freezer. When cut into it for our daughter's bday, it was strawberry ice cream with white cake. We returned the cake to the store and the store said there was nothing they could do. No refund or replacement. $38.99 before tax and tip down the drain with nothing in return.

Wish I could give negative stars. Worst baskin robbin employees ever. Had an electronic gift card and not 1 but 2 employees who couldn't figure out how it works so I had to pay. They said my gift card is invalid but I've used it at several other baskin robbin locations with no problem. Management should really educate their employees before letting them work on their own. Terrible, just terrible.

This one is usually pretty solid but the last few times I’ve gone it’s been so dirty and gross inside. Smeared ice cream on the counters (customer side), dirty floor and the workers weren’t wearing any gloves when serving. The young girl who was working this evening has been pretty rude and has terrible customer service the last few times I’ve gone in. She was arguing with her coworker on who was going to put away the cherries that night and complaining about her job as I was cashing out. I think it’s time for her to find a new job. Also- please clean the place up. It was beyond disgusting in there tonight. Really sad. I hope a manager sees this.

I went there with my 7 yo daughter to get some ice cream. The two workers were playing music with highly offensive lyrics. The guy in front of me with 3 kids was outraged and sent his kids outside. The works just keeped going about there business and did NOTHING. I was kind of shocked. We walked out and so did the other family.I won't be going back, but it's OK. I was never too thrilled with this place and Cold Stone is much better.

This will probably be my last visit to this location. It's a 2 minute drive from our house and we are in the Mira Mesa Village shopping center regularly...but I would much rather take the extra drive to Handles in Del Mar. I visited last night to take advantage of my birthday "free scoop" offer. When you walk in, the place smells great. Maybe because they were making waffle cones. But that is the highlight of this visit. The store itself is a hot mess. I visited at about 6pm, there were 4 employees working when we walked in. There are only a few tables and chairs to sit at..ALL of them extremely filthy. I almost walked out, but I was already committed. Myself and my family ordered. The lady helping us was a young girl that really had no customer service skills. I honestly felt like I was bothering her when I gave her our order. She made all of my kids ice cream in cups...ok no problem. Then I placed my order for a double scoop in a waffle cone. She went to grab my waffle cone with no gloves on...she grabbed the cone with her bare hand and then put it inside of a cone sleeve. I asked her if she could give me a cone that she had not touched. She did and then proceeded to make my ice cream. I ordered a double scoop of "Mom's making cookies", what was strange is that the top of the ice cream looked liked it was already melting inside the chill box. The lady took one scoop and it was all melted. She scooped the melted ice cream away and did not put that scoop in my cone. I was thankful. She dug deeper into the ice cream to scoop ice cream that I thought was more frozen. She handed my cone to me, and within seconds I had the bottom of the cone dripping. I had to hold several napkins in my hand to get through the experience. Of course with how filthy the store was, we opted to just stand outside and eat our ice cream. I was here 3 weeks ago to pick up gift cards for Teacher Appreciation Day. The employee took 20 minutes to figure out how to ring me up for a gift card. I purchased 9 gift cards. Because she didn't really know what she was doing, she told me that she needed to ring me up separately for gift card. It's really hard to mess up ice cream. But this location succeeded. The staff is just not friendly or well trained.

First of all Ahmed was great. I realize it's Memorial Day and he was working alone. There were a lot of people in there. He worked right through everyone with a smile and was very friendly. He kept busy even after everyone was gone. Washed his hands as well. Kudos young man. You were great!The door and the floors were dirty so I gave him a pass in that. The store is usually pretty clean. This a 4 and not 5 stars.
A place that's this filthy should be shut down. I'll admit, I didn't have high hopes after seeing the overflowing trash can from the PARKING LOT. Walked inside and practically lost my shoes because the floor was so sticky. I don't know if they've even washed this floor in the last month. The ice cream cases were not only covered in fingerprints, but smeared with multiple day old ice cream. Neither of the employees felt like greeting us or even acknowledging that we had come into the store. Needless to say, we left. I can deal with bad service, but this place would fail any health inspection that exists. F*cking gross man. Do not come here

We have yet to have a bad experience here. Good variety of flavors and cup of cone options. Dipped cones with sprinkles are always a hit with the kids. The Valentine's Day flavor with raspberry chocolate is delicious and they have plenty of options for folks with different taste buds. A few dine in and dine out tables and generally plenty of parking.

Worst customer experience. Did not honor the child’s request for a scoop of ice cream when we entered the store at 9.55 pm nearing closing hours.( we were inside the store before 10 pm) The In regular practice , it is highly recommended that when the store is nearing the closing hours , the store manager does not allow customers inside ,instead of of allowing all customers inside making them wait in queue and denying purchase . Recommend the management reviews such actions seriously .

I came to buy myself ice cream! The seller was not very kind. When I left the store, I received a Dordash order and returned to the store. The employee told me to cancel the order. I called the customer and instead of offering the customer a replacement, he told him to cancel the order. I called the client again, changed for such incompetent behavior of the employee and began to offer him other options. But the store employee continued to refuse and rude me. He was an Asian-born guy with shaded hair (unfortunately I was in a hurry and did not specify his name). The customer ordered 24 oz. we ended up choosing chocolate mousse. At the end, I told the seller that his behavior was not appropriate and the service was primarily customer satisfaction.

Wow, customer service is just garbage here, the workers have no idea what they're doing, they're lost and confused, and rude. I understand if it's your first job and getting ice cream can be very stressful(?) Perhaps the trainers didn't properly train because either these workers have zero iq or walking vegetables, no idea, it's a clown fiesta barnyard explosion everytime I'm here, lord help this establishmentReference: picking up for Patrick @ 7:30pm upon this review I feel like corrupt establishments unclaim their restaurants on Yelp in an attempt to hide, sad really
